Well, me and a few of my friends decided to come here after some of my colleagues had mentioned how amazing the paella and live flamenco was on the Sunday evening. At first we weren't sure what to expect but were pleasantly surprised by the great atmosphere and pleasant Spanish waiters and waitresses (who were very helpful!). After trying a variety of tapas dishes and some of the very very delicious specials, we shall certainly be coming here again. Fantastic food and a wonderful evening!

After much indecision we settled on El Puerto, and we were in the most quite pleased. The live music was a bonus, the wine served at the perfect temperature and most importantly the food was of a high standard. Two gripes: we thought the food a little over-priced (although this wont put us off returning), and secondly the bill was luckily double-checked as there were a few 'extras' which we hadn't ordered added (incl. a vvv expensive wine). All in all not a bad night at all.

I used this Restaurant for dinner related to Business. Everybody was impressed with the quality of food and availability of the Staff. Being from Madrid I may tell it has authentic tapas and super Spanish wines. Ask Sergio for "croquetas" and you will discover the real thing. Highly recommended for any circumstances although booking is a must for getting a table. Fernando

Food was very good, the ambient fantastic; a must. And the flamenco dancing magical, a truly Spanish experience

The Food & Ambience of this 'Little Spain' provide an exceptional experience, rivalled by no-other in Bristol. Sunday's Flamenco & Paella is a Spanish tradition not to be missed!

Had too superb nights here. Valentines day was fantastic - my boyfriend and I had decided we wanted to go back after going there for a meal when he had visited me previously. I can only echo what others have said about the service- second to none. Even though they were very busy, and running at least five or six covers each, there was always someone there if you needed something! And don't be afraid to ask the staff what to try. They're really helpful if you're not sure what you'd like, or what would go together. The ambience of the place is fantastic as well, and teamed with wonderful food, there aren't many places I would rather go.
