I challenge anyone to come away from this place disappointed! from the minute you arrive and are greeted by the friendly hosts you feel comfy and welcome, The food is among the best I've ever tasted! even the fried rice is an amazing taste, I had chicken with basil leaves and was in heaven with every taste, my partner was in similar ecstasy with her thai green veg curry, I have since used this place as a takeaway and was equally impressed! I will never eat chinese food again!!!
5 stars for level of service. 4 stars for authenticity in its dishes. The 6 of us had a whopping good meal, and the staff was ever so accommodating. We first asked for a large bowl of Tom Yam soup instead of the usual single portion, they obliged. We asked if they could help us to ring for the next train time back to Exeter, and they obliged again! I have tried many Thai restaurants in Devon and Cornwall, but Thai House serves the best pad Thai. Parking was a real nightmare though! Not their fault, but imagine the punters they are losing!!
Ive visited this restaurant many times. It is always a pleasure, whatever the choice from the menu. On the most recent visit with a group we were welcomed by a very cheerful, friendly and welcoming gent at the door, served great food at a good table and all left very happy. I couldnt recommend any Thai restaurant as highly.
I love this place. My hubby and I are regulars; we always arrive at 6pm, no reservation, spur of the moment, and are treated like friends. The food is awesome, I'm veggie, but have as much choice as my non veggie hubby. Try the shared veggie starter, its THE BEST! You wont be disappointed..
It's hard to believe that anywhere outside of Thailand can offer such incredibly delicious food accompanied by a genuine friendly service. It puts all the other Thai restaurants I have tried to shame.
This is one superb little Thai restaurant. It did not take too long before the food arrived and when it did, it was delicious. They have such a good menu its hard to decide. If you like fish then go for the whole thai fish dish, it was so tasty and disappeared very quickly. Its a small restaurant so booking is advised. We went as a four but its ideal to go as a couple as its cosy and warm.
Excellent thai cuisine, in a friendly cosy atmosphere. Fantastic place for dining with friends or as couples.
Superb food and attentive staff made this a super eating experience. I will be back.
