while on holiday with my family, we just dropped in to get an early evening meal. we were seated in the dinning room quickly, and the staff were very attentive, the food was excellent and very good value. i would recommend the restaurant to anyone.

My sister and I came across this hotel by complete accident. We were looking for a Travel Inn, but because it was getting late we saw the White Hart Hotel and decided to stay there instead. We were so glad we did! The staff were welcoming, even at that late hour. And the room was large, elegant and clean, with a bigger than usual en-suite. There were beautiful Georgian windows looking out over the square too, and we spent a quiet and comfortable night. The breakfast was a excellent, plenty of it, and multiple choice, with friendly service. We vowed to return, and are looking forward to having a mini-break there again in February. Would highly recommend for a different 'old world' hotel experience. Very nice!
