The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallNot been to lunesdsle arms in 20 years but some friends recommend we try it for a Sunday roast . Seated very quickly , drinks order taken within minutes , but waited 30 minutes for our food order to be taken . ,when the food arrived it was good quality , hot & tasty . Great atmosphere and friendly staff . Thank you !
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleGreat food, lovely atmosphere. Staff work hard to create a great dining experience.
Papa Luigis – ChorleyWanted to treat my family to a meal out after a very busy weekend and the Shepherds Rest was top of their list. Atmosphere and service excellent. The Sunday Nut Roast went down really well and my husband enjoyed his pork dish. I love the cheese pie and was really looking forward to my meal. Unfortunately, when it arrived the order was wrong. The dish came with mash instead of chips and was covered in gravy instead of served separately. The staff tried their best to correct the order but unfortunately the pie couldn’t be replaced as I had the last one. Sadly, I didn’t enjoy my meal. We’ll be back and in future double check our food orders.
The Shepherds Rest Inn – TodmordenGreat food, beer, service and atmosphere. Can highly recommend.
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleAlways a delight to have a meal at The 3 Millstones. The staff are lovely and the food is delicious. The roast beef is cooked to perfection. Only one tiny, tiny comment, we wish there was more choice of veg. Thank you
3 Millstones Inn – ClitheroeA decent Sunday Lunch. Excellent value for money, great portion size and very tasty.
The Dog Inn – BlackburnMy family and I enjoyed a lovely Sunday lunch yesterday to celebrate my birthday. The food was lovely, the service was great and we all had the most lovely, enjoyable meal. The roast beef comes pink but I asked for mine to be well done and it was perfect and very tender.
The Plough At Eaves – PrestonHad a great meal and the service was excellent
Quattro’s – OrmskirkAs always great meal nice cool pint, booked for 6 meals were all good came online all together and was piping hot. The staff are really nice and the lady owner is very attentive to all customers not just the regulars. Great place to eat clean and tidy, there is a small beer garden to and is great to pop in for a drink after walking. We always feel welcome, see you again real soon.
Griffins Head Bar and Grill – AccringtonImpromptu visit hoping for a Sunday Roast. We had Roast Chicken and a Roast Ham dinner. Nothing fancy just how I like it. Everything cooked lovely. Moist Chicken and tasty ham for me with all you would expect on a Sunday Dinner. Good job
Griffins Head Bar and Grill – AccringtonExcellent food, served by friendly, helpful staff. Great views, fantastic value for money.
The Dog Inn – BlackburnFriday catch up with friends before our holidays. Great wines, beers & pizzas. Excellent service too.
Rileys Loft – ChorleyFood was delicious! Prices are very good. Staff were lovely with perfect level of attentiveness. Interior isn’t perhaps what you’d expect, very modern, open space. Highly recommend a visit! If I lived nearer I’d definitely return.
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleBooked using the online system for 6:15 last Saturday only to get a phone call later in the day to say that they had no tables at that time and that I could have 5:00 or 7:15, neither of which was suitable for us. I appreciate that things can change but, if you have an online booking system it must be kept up to date. We will be trying again next weekend as the food is always excellent.
Papa Luigis – ChorleyHaven’t been to the Plough at Eaves for a while but unfortunately the meal wasn’t great four of the party said there food was ok but two of the party had fish pie and the chef forgot the fish I only had five very small prawns and loads of mashed potatoes the grated cheese on top was good but the clue is in the name fish , the place itself is ready for a face lift and the flag floors a good scrub, sorry but wouldn’t recommend it,
The Plough At Eaves – PrestonWe have dined here quite a few times the pizzas are delicious. Its a wonderful atmosphere and there are plenty of choices with the drinks.
Rileys Loft – ChorleyAnother lovely meal with wine
