How do I write a recommendation?

Simple - just follow these steps.

· Write your recommendation in the space provided.

· Enter your email address

· Enter the name or nickname you want to appear online next to your review

· Click the Submit Recommendation button and you're done

Do I need to provide my email address?

Yes you do. But it will not appear online and will not be provided to any third parties. We only use the nickname you provide to accompany your recommendation.

Will my recommendation appear online immediately after I submit it?

No. All recommendations go initially into a holding area where our editors check for spelling mistakes etc before putting the recommendation live. Usually this process takes no more than 48 hours.

What if I had a bad experience - is there any point writing a recommendation?

This section of the site is not intended to be a forum to air complaints and grievances -- it is for diners to recommend restaurants they enjoyed to others. However we will forward any negative comment (without your email address) to the restaurant concerned. By acting as an impartial third party broker, creating anonymous dialogue between disgruntled diner and restaurateur, we have had a degree of success with the more responsive restaurants in getting satisfaction for our customers.
