Rockafella's, Liverpool City Centre(Recommended by Jonathan Derry)

Went there on 15/3/2010. had a nice thick milkshake and bacon/swiss cheese burger and fries, which was very tasty, though the plate it was served on could have been bigger. Not too expensive and good choice of American style food. I would visit again.

Looks like the place has just had a refurb - looks fab!! Had lunch here with some pals and was lovely. The manager told us about the karaoke at the weekends so have managed to book a group of 20 of us for next week - all the girls are looking forward to it!!

Dinomat
Dinomat, Liverpool One(Recommended by Jayne)

went to Dinomat for the first time on Saturday with a friend and will definitely be going back. The place is big and spacious and has great views overlooking Liverpool one. I had the cajun chicken sandwich which came with lovely crispy fries, salad, coleslaw and onion rings. The sandwich was an open tortillia filled with cajun chicken, salsa and sour cream. Not the cheapest of eats for a lunch time but the the food was really good.

Lunya, Liverpool One(Recommended by Johanna)

Just opened. Exciting food, lovely venue, charming staff. There's obviously a passion for Spanish food - we just had a brief selection from the tapas menu, but each one was sensational. Tradition with a twist and top quality ingredients. Warm and welcoming. Looking forward to going back.

Alma De Cuba, Liverpool City Centre(Recommended by Hotspotspotter)

If you were to take a slight detour from the teeming student area of Liverpool that is Concert square you could be forgiven for thinking you had landed in a swanky bar in Brazil. Alma de Cuba is situated in the former St Peter's Catholic Church on Seel Street right in the heart of Liverpool. Alma boasts a versatile night where they serve food and drinks of all kinds with a Hispanic, Latin American and Cuban combined influence. On entering this spectacular hot spot you do not have to search to discover why its so popular. In fact enter at around five to eleven on a Friday or Saturday and you can see for yourself why. This is 'carnival' and is a popular attraction for the glamorous in Liverpool where the entire bar is adorned with pink and white confetti as salsa dancers entertain at the front of the old alter. The bar area is lavishly decorated and situated beneath a giant chandelier. What's even more impressive and a tad surprising is that the drinks are reasonably priced and the food even more so. The restaurant is positioned above the bar and has an intimate feel, featuring beamed ceilings and rich red velvet decoration all with the underlying influences from the old Church. You can sip a cocktail from their extensive range and perhaps even sneak a peek at the odd celebrity or five. It is not a bar to be missed when out in Liverpool and a perfect place to party in style.
