I've visited pesto in The Trafford Centre and must admit that the food is absolutely beautiful and the service is excellent, the Manageress ( Small Black curly hair) was an excellent host, we will go back soon.

I would strongly recommend a visit to Pesto, everything from the starters to the coffee's could not be faulted. The service was excellent and I will certainly be revisiting shortly

I went to Pesto last week and had a great meal - especially the meatballs, peperoni pizza and prawns - yes I know it sounds a wierd combination, but I loved the variety - like a tapas meal. The staff were friendly and the food arrived promptly. Quite a refreshing change from the usual 'big plate of pasta or pizza' type Italians.

Went for a girl's afternoon out, and absolutely loved it. Staff were great, we didn't have to ask or shout out, they just saw us look in their direction and made their way over. There were six of us, we ordered 3 dishes each and we all shared! The food was devine and I have not stopped thinking about it since! We got a taste of everything and went through loads of wine. I recommended Pesto to a friend and she went to the Trafford Centre restaurant and she and her friends loved it and vowed to go back. All the waiters are gorgeous, if that helps!! Can't wait to take the husband and kids

Some people just love to moan. I loved this place. Went with a few friends and the atmosphere and service were excellent. We had the fest Menu and the amount of food that came flowing out was unbelievable. I'm telling you, if you can manage a dessert after the Festa Menu, you have some kind of appetite. It was great value for money!!

Didn't really know what to expect really as I have only had tapas a few times and with our party having the 'Festa Menu' we didn't really know what the script was.
The place has a lovely vibe to it and the staff were really nice. Were very helpful in helping us make a change to the set menu.

As we had the Festa menu for 7, we got bowls of food, however no serving spoons, our plates weren't changed between the 2 courses so we had pesto covered plates then ate lamb stew off it. We asked for more napkins and they never arrived. I would have thought there would have been salt & pepper, Parmesan etc etc on the table, which there weren't.

The big disappointment though was the big chunk of what seemed like plastic bag in the gnocchi. We brought this to the attention of our waiter who had a word with the kitchen staff. We asked what was the outcome and he never got back to us.

Think I would go back but avoid the gnocchi and only for a table for 2, as our table for 10 was a bit unorganised. We had 7 for the Festa menu and 3 ordering separately. Granted this could have been a bit awkward for the kitchen staff but not rocket science either.

Having been recommended by many friends to try pesto, i must admit i didn't know how italian tapas would work, (being a big italian food lover), however i was extremely pleased with the range of food choice and the way it was presented! the decor i thought was gorgeous creating a romantic but stylish ambiance, in a completely different league from la tasca! 10/10

I went here with a few of my brother friends on his birthday party.

Although they forgot our booking they managed to fit us in on a very busy night!

The service was good considering how packed it was, and was always attentive and the food came very quickly and was fresh and tasty and the idea of italian tapas is good one.

I'd say this is one of the best italians in Manchester.

Called midweek for a quick bite, pre-theatre. Had read some poor reviews so was partly expecting to be disappointed. Food was good and service attentive. Good value for money. Would go again. (Special mention too for the ladies loos which were spotless!!)

Went on 25th November 2006 as part of a large party. We were there for 7pm and it was already busy which we took to be a good sign. I loved the concept of Italian tapas but I'm now not convinced it really works. The food was okay, but as a vegetarian there was very little to excite on the Fiesta Set menu which we plumped for. The atmosphere was quite good with the internal decoration reminding me of La Tasca - I would have expected something slightly more original with more hints of Italy and less of Spain. The waiting staff were efficient but were let down by the kitchen who sent different courses at odd times leaving us to wait nearly an hour for the little pizzas which should have been served with the stews, meatballs and garlic potatoes. All in all we had a nice time, it was a fair restaurant but nothing outstanding.

Brilliant could not find any faults although believe me I tried. Terrific food, service, staff and atmosphere. Well done.

After going to LA TASCA before the crowds in 94' this is superb, El Rincon is over hyped, a refreshing change keep on expanding and good luck. Italian tapas a new concept Superb...after sampling authentic tapas in Madrid on Wednesday this was excellent...good food and ambience...
