I booked this venue for 60 guests during Ramadan. The function room was laid out lovely and I had many compliments from my guests. We were provided with our own buffets upstairs and the food was delicious and hot! The complementary dates and fruit to open our fast was most welcome. I will definitely be booking this for other family occasions in the future!

First time I have eaten at Lahore Fort on Warwick Road and I will never return again. Considering the place had only 1 other table occupied it took them half an hour to get our drinks to us. We were a group of 4. The mocktails we had were vile. The food was not fresh, infact I would say it was leftovers from the day before. There no naan and cooking it fresh took them amother half hour by which time the little food I did have in my plate was stone cold. 2 of our group had very bad stomach cramps the next day. This Lahore Fort is bad, stay well away!

I always prefer Bangladeshi/Pakistani food to Indian as it is authentic and is true Asian home cooking and not a flowery menu trumped and dressed up pretentiously as is the case at many Indian restaurants. At Lahore Buffet, the food is cooked in a visible kitchen. The food is truly amazing and delicious. One often finds it full of Bangla/Pakistani families who always create a great atmosphere. This is not the restaurant of a 5 star hotel and you will not get silver service or gourmet service, and you won't find a page boy in the toilet to pamper and perfume you. What you will get is a friendly welcome, adequate toilets facilities, a great variety of authentic dishes and the best £9-£10 pound you will ever spend for food! Enjoy!

We visited this Lahore tonight after seeing it in the Taste of Birmingham Balti Triangle Guide book. We were so disappointed. The guide states over 20 balti dishes on offer. There was not one actual balti. The curries were Korma, Tikka Masala etc but each one was over spiced and very greasy. The chicken in each was rubber and was in perfect cubes???
The poppadoms were dripping in grease.
We recommend if you want a decent meal then go elsewhere.
We were there a very short time we paid and left. If it was a standard restaurant i would have refused to pay, but as it was a buffet we keep scrapping our plates onto a plate in the middle of the table and trying again with no success but the plate in the middle was over flowing.
Honestly the food was so bad it needs reporting to the FSA and the staffs attitude was just as bad.

Fantastic selection of curries, kebabs to die for! Wonderful to see them being cooked in front of you..
The Chick peas and dhall were really tasty, I would have never tried them if it had not been buffet style eating....
Great night out and very inexpensive

really like the food especially the lamb balti on the bone it really does give it more flavour on the down side they now want you to pay an extra £1.05 per adult and £1.00 per child if you bring your own drinks so i'm afraid it's tap water from now on as i don't agree with the surcharge.

All you can eat buffet : Poppadoms, salads and sauces, starters - tandoori chicken, onion bhaji, veg pakora, sheek kebabs. Rices, nan breads, a wonderful variety of curries (recommend the Lamb Karahi - it's on the bone and the meat melts in your mouth) and a small selection of sweets to finish. It's BYO alcohol, but their soft drinks are very reasonable. Wonderful friendly and cosmopolitan mix of clientele. Its Superb!!

We tried this place again after a few years....as it was terrible the last time! It was a bit better, most of the food was alright, but some of it could have been better (like the rice). The baby highchair was filthy and never washed before they gave it to us to use. But the staff was attentive and helpful. We probably wont go there again tho.
