The Plough at Huddlesford is a canalside pub dating back to 1810 that’s ideally located close to Lichfield city centre. It offers a menu that’s based firmly on local produce with locally reared meat supplied by award-winning butcher Walter Smith. It’s traditional British cuisine prepared with a modern twist with main courses like Rack of Staffordshire lamb, Barbary duck breast and Packington pork steak. There’s also a choice of 39 wines and three cask ales to choose from. Food is served lunch and dinner seven days a week (except Sunday evening) and when weather permits the patio and beer garden is a good bet to sit and watch the barges float by. There are open fires in winter and a freeplay juke box year-round as well as wifi internet access.
