New to Newport. Visited last week. Superb relaxed service in a light and airy environment. Lovely staff. If there's better food available in Newport then we can't wait to find it!!!!!!!!!
Will return again and again and again..............

The Chandlery Restaurant is simply one of the best restaurants I have ever had the pleasure in dining in.
I've eaten at the restaurant on numerous occasion and it never fails to deliver top quality food.
The staff are always really friendly and well informed about the food.
I highly recommend their fish dishes and if you ever see it on the menu you must try their pecan tart, it's simply Divine. Talking about desserts, their best ever dessert must be their raspberry trifle, which I had on my first ever visit to the restaurant. Unfortunately, this is the only time I've seen the trifle on the menu. Hopefully, one day they'll bring it back.

I think that this restaurant are now resting on their laurels. We have been there on two occasions. The food was good but very over priced the service was less than average and the white served at room temperature. On complaining I was told "well I've just brought it from the cellar. I am afraid we will not be going back in a hurry!

The Chandlery is one of Newport? best kept secrets. The food is superb, the service friendly and knowledgeable. I visited the restaurant for a special occasion, my 21st and had a fabulous night, for an extremely reasonable price. This restaurant is not to be enjoyed by the richer of us, it is to be enjoyed by all. Its homely feel is both inviting and relaxing, a must for everyone.
