Karma Restaurant, West Kirby, 21st March 2010.
My Mother's Day treat at Karma was wonderful. Food was delicious; specifically, the korma looked divine but cream prevented me from tasting though my daughter rated it as 'The Best'. My Badami Murgh with coconut and mango rated equally highly and although a mild curry it had such depth of flavour that the lack of heat was not an issue. The peshwari rice was a tasty unexpected change and daughter assures me that the peshwari naan is to 'die for' (curse the allergies!). Service was excellent with a friendly, attentive yet non obtrusive manner and time was generously given to explain the recipe contents for allergy needs. Welcoming and unhurried so much so that the booking is in for a party of 12 at the weekend. Looking forward to trying the rest of the menu and, going on this experience, confident that it will be equally delicious.
After travelling over from Scotland to visit some of our friends on the wirral we visited Karma. The food was sensational, mind blowing you may say and the atmosphere was out of this world. The previous evening we visited the new bar over the road and the food is no match to Karma. If you have never been before then go. Myself and my wife will be taking breaks on the Wirral more often.
As I came up North last Saturday to visit a friend she told me that we would have eaten at a lovely Indian restaurant called Karma. I eat in many restaurants (many Indian restaurants too) but this marvelous little restaurant in the Wirral was delightful. The ambience/energy was very good, the food was simply delicious and we were truly looked after by this charming waiter ( we think he is possibly Italian). What to say now, I'll find it difficult from now on to find all these positive features anywhere else. If so, Karma you'll see me soon again!!!!
Karma is the best Indian restaurant we have ever experienced. We have travelled all over the world but have not had anything better. Their choice of flavoured rices to accompany their curries is nothing short of exceptional.
Furthermore, the service is superb and the ambience brilliant. We particularly enjoy the modernity of the place; no flock wallpaper, no "ethnic" music for the sake of it.
The art work on the walls is the effort of one of the young waiters and can be bought.
Karma is the nicest Indian restaurant i have been to in merseyside. The food is divine and the atmosphere and service are sensational.
i loved karma, fantastic indian cuisine, good service, very clean. the only other restaurant i have been to with the same ambience and quality of food was in La Manga Spain. So fantastic going again.
