Murillos Spanish Restaurant, Marple
Recommended by

I am Spanish and I can say tapas from this restaurant are real and delicious Spanish tapas, congratulations to the chef!! I like the decoration, the flamenco music and the very very friendly waiters. I understand perfectly the reasons because this restaurant is always full. There I enjoyed a meal with some friends, we loved the spanish omelette, the bacalao, the croquetas, a delicious salad with orange and avocado, the patatas bravas, the prawns..., and after the desserts were lovely and to finish, some coffees (particularly good the cappuccino). Murillos is well worth a visit and we will be going back in September to try the three courses credit crunch buster menu £12.50 per person that they are launching on the 1st of the month……Megan

Very pleasant environment. Good and attentive service even during busy times. Most importantly food was well prepared and absolutely delicious. Both the tapas and the a la carte menu are classic Spanish and well worth going back for. Paella takes 30 minutes and they have a selection of six including “Vegetarian or Lobster Paella” on the menu. Wine list made up of very good selection Spanish and New World wines.

Very pleasant visit the other Sunday. The slow cooked lamb was delicious and I certainly don't mind paying slightly more if I'm to receive food of this quality! The live band - Three Point Turn - kept everyone entertained with their jigs and reels. Strongly recommend this place.
107 Dining Room, Heswall

I'd almost forgotten what an excellent restaurant 107 is but a visit this Sunday brought back those very pleasant memories of fine dining during previous visits. The lunchtime menu is varied and excellent value for money. Staff are attentive, inobtrusive and helpful. The food is well presented and delicious. What more could anyone want? The drinks were on the pricey side but don't let this put you off paying a visit. Strongly recommended and moving closer to the top of my list of favourite restaurants.

Green Dolphin Brasserie & Bar, Wallasey

The Green Dolphin is a real gem in New Brighton and you've just got to go! Food is fantastic with a great choice of dishes. There's a lovely bistro-style atmosphere and friendly staff. It's reasonably priced and the ingredients are deliciously fresh and locally sourced. Best place to eat in Wallasey!
Giovannis, Crewe

My family have dined there several times. The new owners have definitely improved the atmosphere and the service. The food remains fantastic, the prices are very reasonable and I would definitely return. They even do childrens birthday parties, there was one on when we were there with our grand daughter. They have highchairs and are very child friendly. We enquired about a function and they told me that they have a function room upstairs which is free. An overall good place.
