My wife & I have eaten down the hungry horse for quite a while now,and always found the food very enjoyable, but you need to get there early if you go fri, sat,& sunday roast sunday, the waitress s always ask how your meal is.My only slight moan(very slight) the food could be hotter, but to sum up great value,& lots of it...9out of 10
Unhappy
the room was so cold and the radiators turned off t was minus 2, the fish was shrivelled up the peas stone cold and my partners food was cold, when it came to the apple pie i was disgusted at the tiny size of it, the waitress was shaking it as she approached our table to even out the sugar that had been thrown on it,don't know about the hungry horse more like the hungry mouse, try the horse in chippenham you may pick up some tips what a credit to the manager in there, puts yours to shame excellent place, food, comfort and atmosphere wonderful
