I can only assume the chef had new year off. I have never paid so much money for such poor food, service and atmosphere.
We had to have a set menu for the evening which would have been fine, however, the vegetarian options were crepes with garlic mushrooms for one course, then mushroom and asparagus crepes for the next. Off menu you could choose cannelloni or lasagne which turned out to be exactly the same thing - salty, greasy and inedible!
The soup was tasteless and so was the sorbet - we couldn't tell what flavour either were supposed to be. The steak was overcooked sat in a pool of oxo cube gravy and over cooked potato. The one fish course on offer was bland, I could go on and on. To sum up; it was all either tasteless or only tasted of stock cube or salt. 14 people will never be going back and we will all discourage anybody in the future from going.
We spent £420 on food that tasted like it came from one of Gordon Ramseys worst nightmares.
Revolting.

A really excellent Portuguese restaurant. Interesting dishes, prepared traditionally. We've been to Portugal a lot, and the dishes at Casa Pedrosa are every bit as good as the best we've experienced (and a LOT better than many). They do the traditional dagger kebabs and the big copper pan of seafood (Cataplana) which have to be experienced to be believed! Nice surroundings, too.
