I must Thank the staff at Crown Court house for making my birthday night such a memorable occasion, the food was excellent, I had Scallops for a starter and Lobster for the main course, absolute perfection. Friendly efficient service in a relaxing historic setting. I understand they are starting a Carvery for Sunday Roast Lunches, I have already booked my table.

The evening menu has now started, and is as good if not better than the day menu. It is called the deliciously British menu and it is certainly delicious and British with a fantastic modern twist. It is completely different to any restaurant in the area, and not every comes with chips!! If you want a dining experience with with flair and fantastic food and atmosphere then this is your place !!

The owner Tim wouldn't leave us alone so we couldn't enjoy our meal. Perfectly nice place apart from the owner Tim being a little bit 'strange'. If he wasn't there it would be a great place.

As someone who regularly enjoys 'coffee and cakes' at various cafes throughout Furness and the South Lakes, this cafe is the best I have visited for is selection and standard of cakes. All of the food is brilliant, with regularly changing menu's, daily specials and a great atmosphere whether you are on your own or with a family. Shortly to be expanding into evening meals, I can't wait to try them out.
