One of the BEST restaurants in Cornwall. Never been disappointed and will always recommend. We had the early bird menu fr £14 and was blown away! The food was perfect and so was the hosting. Great place! ALWAYS worth a visit!
More Kota Restaurant recommendationsDelish!!! lovely Italian food and perfect for a romantic evening out with someone special
More Zucca Italian Brasserie recommendationsgreat atmosphere and fantastic staff
More Bunters recommendationsWe visited Olive's during our stay in St Ives. This place is a must! Just up the hill from all the hussle and bussle of St Ives we came across this beautiful restaurant. The second we stepped inside we were made very welcome by the two lovely owners - Johnny and Penny. The hospitality was second to none which matched the taste and quality of the food served. I can't recommend this place enough and will definitely be returning in the near future.
More Olive's recommendationsSunday lunch at the Green Dragon is not to be missed the gravy is to die for and the whole meal is fantastic and such great value, hope they do Christmas Lunches this year if so we will be there.
More Green Dragon Inn The recommendationsThis was the first time my children had eaten proper fish and chips, as Becks was able to cater for their Gluten Free diet and provided a truly delicious meal not once but twice in the week we were holidaying close to St. Ives. I would recommend Becks fish and chips to anyone going to the area regardless of whether they needed the gluten free batter or not. I wish I lived closer to eat there more often.
More Becks Fish And Chips recommendationsThe best Fish & Chips in the South West and probably in the country. Try their "Krispie!" chips and you will never buy chips anywhere else
More Krispies recommendationsThe only down side was not discovering Trevaskis until the end of pour holiday. The portions are enormous and the food quality wonderful. The deserts are dangerously tasty. Service/staff professional and friendly. The prices very reasonable. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Just wish we had found it sooner as we didn't have time to look round the farm.
More Trevaskis Farm Restaurant recommendationsThe Mason's Arms was recommended by a work colleague when we told him we were staying in east Somerset. A bit of a trek to find it but thanks to sat nav we made it in good time. It's basically an ancient village pub in Knowstone, to the south of Exmoor, that has been taken over by a Michelin-starred chef (from the Roux brothers' Waterside Inn at Bray, I believe). There's a small public bar which retains its character (as well as the odd local), a lounge-cum-waiting area and the small restaurant to the rear which has great rural views and a slightly bizarre mix of plain wooden furniture and a ceiling straight out of the Sistine Chapel. Still, it's not at all stuffy here and you really don't want stuffy dining rooms in the middle of Devon, do you? There's a good wine list and a simple menu choice of five or six starters, mains and desserts. The food was top quality and beautifully presented - as you would expect from a Michelin-starred venue. Didn't break the bank either. The only downer is that unless you are staying very local, one of you has to drive.
More The Mason's Arms recommendationsI just celebrated my birthday at Caseys Diner in Paignton, we all had a fantastic time, the food was great and very well priced, I had smothered chicken and my hubby had an amazing steak, the kiddies meals were brought out in cars and they got a toy too, the desserts were fab and huge, Thank you caseys for making my birthday so special! Will definitely be back again soon!
