Lovely country pub that seems to offer something for everyone. We recently sampled the carvery and were definitely not disappointed by the wide choice of options available. Once we'd decided on the meat we were then confronted by no less than 7 different vegetables, stuffing, Yorkshire puddings, potatoes and gravy. The carvery definitely lives up to the high standard of food to come out of this village pub.
More Kestor Inn The, Newton Abbot reviewstook the family for Xmas meal in December, food was very good and service was excellent,we took my 2 year old grandson and they provided him with a main course meal and then refused to take payment for it.So much food I took my pudding home in a doggy bag, all locally sourced food and excellent quality. Have been subsequently as a couple and the food was excellent, loads of specials, starters and main courses and the wine menu is extensive and not overly expensive, recommend the Chenin Blanc.
More Globe Inn, The, Lostwithiel reviewsAlways well prepared food in a friendly atmosphere. Professional staff who know how to do a good job. Just what Tavistock needs - good value for a meal out.

More River Exe Cafe, Exeter reviewsWe stayed at Halwyn near St. Keverne and Roskilly's for about 13 straight years when the kids were young. Needless to say the first place we visited in Cornwall on the way was the ice cream parlour (then a wooden building overlooking the road). The choice of flavours was unbelievable, the family would even produce ice cream to order, notably banoffee, for the children. We all loved the place! We visited again recently and although there were a few changes the quality of the ice cream was just as we remembered it. Superb.
More The Croust House At Roskillys Ice Cream, The Lizard reviewsThe food is technically brilliant but the service grudging and ungracious. It makes all the difference if the chef makes an appearance at the tables and when the staff are friendly and helpful - rather than pointing you to a table, taking your order, bringing the food and taking your money!! Little touches make all the difference and it is this lack of attention to the detail that prevents me being a regular!! Lessons could be learned from the Blue Plate along the coast in Downderry.
More The View, Torpoint reviewsA very good meal at this new Turkish restaurant. Location not brill as difficult to park but food was lovely. Not got alcohol license yet so literally popped next door to offy to get some beers!
More Blue Eye Bbq Restaurant, Exeter reviewsWhen we turned up it was very quiet. The staff were very courteous and welcoming. The two meals for £12.00 were fantastic value. I would definitely come again.
