The Wave @ Coverack, The Lizard
Recommended by Nick

Great restaurant ... a perfect way to start the day is to order the light breakfast (a bargain if you're there before 11.00am !) ... then, if it's a Friday, enjoy the fish and chip evening meal (but you must book ... demand is heavy so I'm informed) which was just delightful ... I recommend it thoroughly and am looking forward to going back to stay in Coverack next year again ... delightful restaurant, lovely people, great service, brilliant food ... I'm hooked (apologies for the fishing pun !) ... thank you The Wave ... Nick

Bistro One, Plymouth
Recommended by Mike P

Do not be put off by the outside, as inside you will be able to enjoy 'michelin star' food accompanied by some excellent wines, which are both at reasonable prices. That day we got soaked (Wed 9.7.08) going to an all day conference. The highlight was our first visit to Bistro One. When next visiting Plymouth, I'll be trying other dishes on the menu, even though the beef was as good as one could wish for, cooked to perfection.

Leandra The, Plymouth
Recommended by Anonymous

6 of us went to The Leandra on a Sunday evening as a spur of the moment thing, it was difficult finding a restaurant open on Sunday evening! We were very pleasantly surprised. The service was excellent with very attentive and friendly staff, the place had a good atmosphere and was busy. The food was very reasonably priced (I paid £9.99 for 3 courses) and tasty!

Cobblestones, Minehead
Recommended by Sr

I had a wonderful evening at Cobblestones restaurant. The ambiance was very relaxed, the meal superb and the service excellent. It was also very reasonably priced. There were comfortable sitting areas to use prior to and after eating which added to the overall experience, making it feel like a lovely occasion rather than just being out for a meal. The staff were very friendly and were eager to make the evening enjoyable from the moment we stepped in from the door until the moment we left. This really is the place to 'Sit, Relax and Enjoy'.

Cobblestones, Minehead
Recommended by Chris West

An evening at Cobblestones in Dunster was a most enjoyable dining experience. There is an excellent chef - the food was absolutely mouth-watering (and reasonably priced). The surroundings were comfortable, staff friendly, and we were encouraged to relax for as long as we wished following our meal - just perfect after a day's walking! If our stay in Somerset had been longer, we would definitely have returned for another meal.
