We stayed in the NT cottage across the square in June 2005 and had 4 meals in the Drewe Arms. The menu changes a bit every day. There is a good range of dishes including vegetarian. The main courses are between £7 and £10. Every meal was cooked just right, no microwaving or mass produced stuff. I had sausage and mash with a crispy onion hat, Thai fish cakes, sauce and veg. Veg done just right, still crunchy. Battered Cod and chips, Chicken & Leak pie with potatoes - nice home made style pastry. Old village pub with no real bar, just a serving hatch with some barrels behind it. Thatch roof. Friendly staff. Bars are the best seating area but aren't very big, there is a restaurant room at the back.
