We ate here on Saturday evening and the food was dire. Over the last 3 years this pub has had a multitude of chefs, one was superb, but since his departure the food has gone down, and down, and down.
I had a turkey ciabatta sandwich concoction, the ciabatta bread was inedible, you couldn't cut it or chew it. Avoid like the plague.

This restaurant was lovely the food was the best we had tasted in a long while and the price was reasonable too. the staff were helpful and it really made our weekend good.

Stopped by for a Sunday lunch along with most other poeple in the south of england. Very busy, atmosphere of a works canteen but just the place to go if large carveries excite you. If creative cuisine is your thing; look elsewhere.
Maybe better of an evening???
