The Plough Inn at Brackenfield is a 500-year-old country inn with a large beer garden situated on the edge of the Peak District between Matlock and Alfreton. Originally a farmhouse, the Grade II-listed building has retained its rural charm with low beams, a dining area spread across multiple levels and agricultural implements adorning the walls. It’s open every day except Monday for lunch and dinner with an extensive and varied menu encompassing tapas, pizza, street food, traditional pub classics and weekly specials. There is also a wide selection of beers, wines, gins and cocktails. The Plough Inn has a huge beer garden too with 38 tables which is popular in the summer months.
