Nirvana Restaurant, Spain(Recommended by Ajay)

Wow!! Amazing freshly prepared food as compared to some of the very poor quality so called Indian restaurants on the Spanish coast. The very friendly proprietors Jimmy and Meena made our evening very special and nothing was a problem. We immediately noticed the stark contrast in the very authentic food and high standards of hygiene (especially the toilets for our young children!!) and later found out that this was due to Jimmy and Meena's British background and high regard of hygiene and stringent food regulations as opposed to the other Indian restaurants which are typically run by staff from other Asian, Pakistani and Bangladeshi lacking similar basic control standards. No "Delhi belly" to be found here!! We have a holiday villa about 10km away but this Restaurant is now top of our list and well worth the trip. Highly recommended.

When living in Spain we went to the Nirvana every week. The food is always consistent and good. Service is friendly and the staff always attentive. Now back in the UK its a hard act to follow!Every visit back to Spain we eat there at least once.

Vista Del Mar, Spain(Recommended by Bede)

'The first thing that grabs your attention at Vista del Mar is the stylish interior and the wonderful view after which, of course, the restaurant is named. Sitting in the lounge bar with a glass of the fresh and crisp house white wine, picking at succulent and spicy olives was certainly not a hardship on a sunny Sunday evening. The bar, indoor dining room and the terrace dining area all share the panoramic views, giving diners a pleasant outlook across the swimming pool, landscaped gardens and out to the sea. The second thing to assail our senses was the gorgeous smells coming from the kitchen ' This establishment never fails to amaze me with its quality, ambiance and service - well worth a look!!

Kataria Gastronómica, Spain(Recommended by Michael Kessler)

This restaurant made our holiday. A gastronomis oasis surrounded by fast food chains, sad British pubs and hot stressful tapas bars. A fusion of tastes, each dish surpassing the former. We left the ordering to the extremely competent Maitre'D who, together with the maestro chef, never ceased to satisfy our taste buds. We were in Benidorm for a week and 3 evenings were spent at The Kataria Gastronomica. Ask for the degustione menu and you will not be disappointed. Quality dining at reasonable prices. Decor superb. Beautiful cutlery, crockery and glasswear. Fine linen table cloths on spacious tables. I can not recommend the restaurant enough.

Restaurant Kardinaalshof, Belgium(Recommended by Foodlover)

We were staying two nights in Brugge, one night we dined in this restaurant opposite the Saint Saviours cathedral. We took a 4 course menu and were spoiled from the first to the last course. we had a nice conversation with the new owner Franky Dhondt and had the time of our live. We will be back....

Alberts Cabopino, Spain(Recommended by Josey)

This restaurant is the best it has ever been - the food is absolutely out of this world - the daily special board is where the chef really spoils us - now I can honestly say - setting - perfect - service - great - food - out of this world! A visit to Alberts is a must if you are in the area. And one other thing - nowhere on the coast serves a Sunday lunch as good as them either - I should know, Ive tried a few!
