Definitely the best Fish & Chips in Blackpool. We always go here for take away on our way home but sat in the restaurant last time and although they were very busy and missing some staff, they really looked after us.

It was my birthday today and when my daughter asked where I wanted to be taken for lunch (her treat) I said Blackpool for Fish and Chips - and the only place to go in Blackpool for the best Fish and Chips is 'The Cottage' After doing so she was suitably impressed - the meal was (as always) superb - In her own words 'The best Fish and Chips she had ever had' - but then again I knew that would be the case. Thankyou 'The Cottage' may you always prosper.

Went for dinner on Friday evening with my mum. Couldn't fault at all. The restaurant has been updated and refurbed. my mum received a complimentary cup of tea whilst waiting for me to arrive.
The waitress, a lovely lady was very knowledgeable, pushing the specials and helping us choose. I had the hake and chips with mushy peas. My mum had the cod and chips. Both fish was uber fresh, flaky and cooked to perfection.

Visited in April and found their seafood platter special a real treat. Great variety of good quality fish. The owners Jason and Elizabeth couldn't have been more hospitable. Appreciate their respect for the original characterful features of the old cottage too since the tasteful refurb, such as maintaining the beach cobbled wall. Their own Tartar sauce is wonderful.

Went to this restaurant last night and although its under new ownership, it is as good as it has always been. The quality is outstanding , fish incredibly fresh and tasty and potion sizes excellent. The home made tartar sauce is yummy. The new owners are lovely and take great customer service seriously...My parents cant come to Blackpool from south Manchester without a visit to The Cottage and don't you just love a pint of cider with your chips ??? Fantastic !

Faultless food, cooked to perfection, thanks Jason and Liz, the food and staff are a credit to you both, will definitely be back.

Absolutely the best fish and chip shop in the world!!!! I am a regular visitor - the fish is beautiful, not too much batter either! I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Probably the best chippy in the world.
Don't miss their special: a taste of half a dozen different varieties of fish.
Warning! When they say 'very large' (portions) they mean 'enormous'!
