Thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Well cooked and presented. Large portions - starter was enough for a meal- therefore had to share a dessert with my partner. Lovely room. Would avoid a Saturday in future as presence of young children in the restaurant together with a large wedding party is not too relaxing - but will go again !

As I don't normally eat in hotel restaurants in my home town this was a new and rewarding experience. Top quality food, professional and attentive service in a interesting enviroment, particularly as it's in a busy 4 star hotel.

Nice informal atmosphere, food was great - I chose the Moules marinieres which were delicious! then had the King scallops with avacadot with smoked bacon and Chardonnay cream - wonderful! My partner had Thai crab cakes followed by confit of duck. The portions were good so we shared a sticky toffee brioche and butter pudding which was out of this world. All for less than £25 a head. The service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive.
