Went for dinner last night with my husband and it was as always superb, the staff are so friendly and the menu is great sooooo much choice we both opted for food off the specials menu and was not disappointed my husband ordered Arabic Grill and i opted for the surf and surf fillet steak was one of the most delicious meals we have eaten in a long long time. It isn't the cheapest but you pay for quality and is definitely worth every penny.

I visited on a Monday afternoon around 12:30 not expecting much really as it was just a place to get a quick bite to eat, I thought. The menu was varied and different with all kinds of wonderful dishes to choose from. Service and food was excellent and would definitely recommend this lovely little place. I say little but actually there's a small courtyard to the rear and an upstairs in addition to the front of the bar to eat. I chose to sit in the courtyard and as it was early lunch time we were on our own. I noticed ash trays on the tables so maybe smokers take advantage of this when eating there. I was seated by the kitchen window and I could hear the chef calling service and bossing his kitchen, you could definitely tell he had pride in his job. The courtyard had a holiday feeling but I wouldn't of sat there if there were smokers in there. Overall it was excellent, good food, service and atmosphere. I will definitely visit as soon as I can again but in the evening this time.

I went here for the first time last night, food was good and service good too. Menu very different from other places I have been too, well worth checking it out on the website first so you know what to expect. My friends and I opted for the al-a -carte menu and desserts. The bill was £73 for 3 of us which included 2 cocktails, one glass of wine and a glass of lemonade. I had fresh water king prawns and my friends both had piri, piri chicken and we got a bowl of veg and potatoes between us all. Food was warm and we all enjoyed it.

It was small inside but lovely and warm and I enjoyed the singer who was on, not too intrusive and not too loud. .

We got 2 for 1 cocktails as it was Thursday night. I would definitely go again but I would go when they have their half price offers or 2 for 1 deals on and I am definitely going to try their lunchtime deals.

Was only spoilt by a whiff of cigarette smoke drifting in from outside later on in the night but would go again.

I love this place-I've been a few times in the evening with my fiance but also pop in during the day for amazing pastas and wine with my girly friends.It's inexpensive and feels fabulous-I'm planning to get married next October and am hoping I can have it for my reception.x

Eat at New Season for the first time on thursday night.
Odered Paella that was to die for best I have ever had. Good choice of wine and cocktails although follwoing a heavy night on wednesday did not sample this time.

Service was first class especially Peter who appeared to be the restaurant manager constantly checking all our needs were met and the singer is fantastic. Not the cheapest place round but well worth it

Booked for 730 but we were late, still managed to fit us in even though it was busy! Food was brilliant, had all sorts of world foods, I had this steak thing in spicy sauce which was amazing and Live music on,his name was cris- Great Singer very soulful as said below! Booked again for my brothers birthday

Even though the restaurant was booked up, they still found room for us. The staff were polite, charming and attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The food was Amazing, really really gorgeous! We had the tapas menu which was a real eye opener, the choice was fantastic, the only problem was that once i had tried it, i wanted to eat everything on the menu!

Had a great time here , the food was outstanding and different and the staff genuinely want you to have a good time , nothing is too much trouble and they make you feel like a mate.
When i go for a meal I want to feel like I am on holiday and I want to eat something that I wouldn't have thought of cooking myself and that is exactly what you get here. Price was fine but I racked the bill up by trying loads of different cocktails, paid for it in the morning too!

Great place to eat, staff are brilliant, was about £20 per head including drinks but really special. They also had singer guitarist on and we got his business card and is playing at our wedding next year. Lovely

We have eaten here for lunch and evening.
Excellent food and as it is a small restaurant the atmosphere is friendly and intimate.

Ate here last night, saw the sign 'Guardian Best place to eat' so was eager to get a table booked. When we arrived there was a guitarist on. Great atmosphere and candlelit. Food was amazing, out of this world and staff was so so friendly helping with recommendations. We had a couple of cocktails and really started to get into the music. The Singer was really talented and was told he plays every Thursday so we'll be back again soon.

GREAT NIGHT - little worse for wear this morning though :)

Me and partner had a sensational meal at this restaurant, my partner had booked a table on valentines evening and proposed which was so romantic, what made it especially special was the intimacy of the restaurant and the excellent service. I couldn't fault anything, it was absolutely perfect. Thank you New Seasons for a lovely evening and we will most certainly be seeing you again in the future.

This is a lovely restaurant, with kind and generous staff and a friendly family atmosphere.
The food is delicious and varied with a great choice of starters (including tapas), main courses and home-made desserts to die for! Your table is yours for the night and the cocktails are so good, you won't want to give up your table!
It was a little more expensive than your average meal (we paid nearly £50 per head; probably because we had 7-8 cocktails each!), but it feels like you've got a bargain.
I would absolutely recommend the New Seasons restaurant... in fact, we just decided to back for our anniversary!

Went here on Friday with a girlie friend.
Lovely original decor and ambiance. The food (I had sea bass as a main) was excellent, as was the cocktail I had :) the lady staff were a bit less attentive than I would've liked, hey , never leave a lady with an empty wine glass!! But they were pleasant. The bartender man was very attentive, that may have been more to do with my attractive friend though LOL. I will definitely make a return.

Me and two friends ate here on January 16th 2009 and it was the best meal I have had anywhere near Chorley in years.
I had hummus and pita bread to start, then the fillet steak stroganoff. Absolutely superb! The cocktails are lovely and reasonably priced (and potent!).
The only down side is the service is not very attentive. Drinks took a while to arrive, and we had to ask twice to see a dessert menu (having to get up to find a waitress). But it WAS full, so they were doing their best.
Cannot fault the food, lovely intimate atmosphere. Really lovely.

Great 2 for 1 deal before 7pm. New Season comes close to being an excellent place to eat. The restaurant is cosy and generates a good atmosphere. The food is excellent, all freshly prepared and it shows, very impressive. The service though, at least on the night that we visited, left a lot to be desired. The front of house staff were courteous, but not overly attentive, our glasses sat empty for long periods whilst we tried to attract service and our desert never arrived. We could easily have spent another £20 on drinks etc. That said the food and the atmosphere were sufficient to mask this.

I spent a brilliant night here with friends. The staff were lovely, very helpful and the food was the best. I only managed to have one cocktail which was amazing but from the rest of my friends comments, so were all the others!!
I would definitely come back here, even though I live in Manchester, it was that good!!

If you pay the full prices in this restaurant, you would probably say , it's a bit pricey but the food and service were excellent.
Go any night between 5 and 7 ( except Saturday ) and get 2-for-1
and you will be absolutely amazed. This is the best food we have had in a long long time. Also, as a bonus... 2 for 1 cocktails on Thursdays and Sundays !

We have eaten at New Seasons several times in 2007, finishing the year in style with them on New Years Eve. The food has been exceptional on every visit and the service has been excellent. The dishes are all freshly cooked, but we have never had to wait an unreasonable amount of time before we could eat.

We have recommended the restaurant to all our friends and will continue to do so.

My partner & I have dined at New Seasons several times & have always thoroughly enjoyed it. When I needed to organise somewhere for a work meeting I could not have imagined how perfect New Seasons would be. They have a room upstairs which is fab - beautifully decorated with a roaring fire (just what is needed on a cold December night). The staff were attentive whilst allowing our meeting to go uninterrupted and the food was exquisite - all my work colleagues commented on what a wonderful place it was. The owners are incredibly helpful and I would have no problem with recommending New Seasons to anyone!

This little hideaway just gets better and better. We love it here! Would highly recommend

Maybe we were unlucky then in terms of service as we were seated for 15 minutes before being handed a menu/offered a drink and then the starter arrived almost a full hour after initially sitting down. Couldn't fault the food though, it was beautiful!

Just returned from our latest visit and thought it was time to share this goldmine that Chorley has! From the exquisite food, friendly staff, fantastic ambience and exceptional value; this place is unrivalled in the area!!! Highly recommend a visit.

We've been a few times now. The restaurant is small but this helps create a good atmosphere. The service is always good and the staff are helpful. The food is quite varied but of good quality for the price especially during the week.

i like food and staff charming

Stripped wood floors, charming staff, EXCELLENT food and really good value add up to an experience that has to be repeated. Chorley needs more restaurants this good!
