Our first visit to Greens this evening. Simply well cooked food, superbly presented, in pleasant surroundings, with a really warm atmosphere. The staff were very attentive and friendly but never pushy, the menu choices are varied. One thing that did not vary was the quality - excellent throughout. Our first visit will not be our last.

My wife and I ate here last night........it was fantastic. A relaxed atmosphere set the tone, and we were allowed to deliberate over a fantastic looking menu, without being interrupted by staff. Once we were ready to order, a quick look up, had a waitress by our table immediately. The food was sublime - the starters absolutely wonderful, and the rib-eye cooked to perfection. As for the sticky toffee pudding.......amazing. I thoroughly recommend this restaurant and will be going back!!!!

Simply Excellent - Always has been always will. Thanks for all the truly great meals!!!

I would recommend Greens to anyone, they serve by far the best food and wine for that matter on the Fylde coast.

We visited Green's Bistro on Friday 19th Oct for the first time and the food was absolutely gorgeous. We selected from the very competitively priced set menu and were not disappointed by the choices offered. The service was good but the whole place lacks an intimate atmosphere: the music played was just too quiet which made you feel self-conscious about your own conversation and the lighting was too harsh, despite tea-light candles on the tables. My husband ordered a bottle of beer which was "cool" rather than the expected "cold". Overall, we had a lovely meal but probably wouldn't go back because of the disappointing ambience. The bill only came to £40 which was fantastic value for two three-course meals , two generous glasses of red wine and two bottles of a well-known brand of beer.

Been waiting a long time to visit this bistro after many recommendations. Expected great food and got Superb food & nice ambience, also a great price for the set menu. Will certainly be going back and also recommending it to friends. Try it ! Some of the better restaurant food I've had in a long time.

We have just had a family meal at Greens and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was excellent as was the service. It was our first visit, and we will definately go again.

I've written one or two reviews on Sugarvine and normally just sit down and type but do that for Greens would be to do it an injustice. From the moment we walked down into the entrance we knew we were in for something very special. Anna and her front of house team are welcoming, unobtrusive and professional. Throughout the meal chilled water is provided to clean the palate from course to course - a very nice touch.

The a la carte menu was varied, extensive and very reasonably priced. Presentation is superb but does not mask the quality of the cooking. It is without equal on the Fylde Coast.

When you go be prepared to relax and enjoy the whole experience because you will not be disappointed. One final note is the coffee - very often this appears to be seen as an afterthought but not here. It is fresh and the correct temperature and strength.

The two of us had starters, mains, puddings and cheese, wine, ports, coffee - £120.00 but don't use that as a guide to the prices as we were pushing the boat out; check out the website, book early and be warned : it is very popular!

I have been coming to Greens for several years. It is one of the best restaurants I know bar none. I have recommended it to many friends who have been equally enchanted

The best restaurant on the Fylde bar none!

Not easy to find but well worth it when you do. We had to ring to get exact location. Food and service was excellent and the staff extremely friendly and welcoming. A definitely must for anyone visiting St. Annes, as we were. Only suggestion we would have would be to lighten up the decor, paint the orange brickwork bar and lose some of the green.

Definitely the best restaurant on the Fylde.

Had a meal on Friday 12 August 05, never been before and found it difficult to find, had to phone for directions. Worth the trip, was excellent, just the kind of food we like. The homemade rum and raisin ice cream was outstanding. Will definately return.

If you weren't looking for it you'd miss it, located in a basement off the main road. Once you do find it its definitely remembered. The chef here is producing top quality real food, I had a starter of asparagus with hollandaise and an incredibly well cooked poached egg on top, it was light and delicious. For the main I chose the aged steak on a gallet of potato with wild mushroom sauce, again the dish had a lightness to it, not over rich with the sauce, I welcomed it, the steak was cooked perfectly. If you are ever in this area go here you wont regret it. The wine list was also very good with high quality wines by the glass.

Excellent meal with a starter of asparagus tips etc and a very tasty steak dish to follow. Could recommend this Bistro and will be back again soon. Very good wine list.

Best food in the Fylde? Probably. It well deserves its 2 Rosettes.

Varied menu and excellent service. Well presented. The seafood risotto and spring lamb, excellent! As was the warm tart of English Asparagus and parmesan cheese, followed by pan fried medallions of pork. Nice ambience, definitely will be re-visiting. Hopefully in the not too distant future!

This was one of the best meals I've had for years, easily beating the London restaurants I dine in frequently. The produce was of such good quality and cooked to perfection and the wine list sensiblbly priced and very satisfactory. The service was excellent, friendly without being obtrusive and the restaurant itself very attractive. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Greens and will definitely visit again when in the area.

A Saturday night very well spent. Went with friends who had recommended Greens. Excellent choice. 4 starts, 4 mains, 3 desserts, 5, yes 5 bottles of a delicious NZ little number, coffees £180.00 for the 4 of us. The aim of trying to spend more on the wine bill than the food bill was not achieved but we had fun trying. !!Very comfortable surroundings coupled with Excellent service. Would definitely recommend you go...A real treat!

We visited Greens after seeing a review on Sugarvine and have to say it is one of the best restaurants we have been to - and as we are in the catering trade it takes a lot to please us!!!

From the minute we walked in, we knew it was our kind of place. Not too big, good music at the right level and very friendly staff.

There was a set menu at £15 if I remember correctly which had a great choice, but we went for the main menu as we were out celebrating and deserved a treat!!!

The wine menu was fabulous, with wines from all over the world which had obviously been picked very carefully. We opted for a Rothschild (white, £18.00) and weren't disappointed.

The food was beautifully presented and tasted even better than it looked, and each dish was perfectly complimented by its sauces or garnishes.

We weren't rushed to finish each course and weren't hounded by the very hospitable staff - a perfect evening!!!

We had 2 starters, 2 Mains, 1dessert, 1 cheese platter, 1 coffee, 3 vintage port, 1 bottle of wine and 3 drinks for a very reasonable £80.

We will definetely visit again and will certainly reccommend to friends.

Easter Saturday provided the perfect opportunity for a family dinner at St Annes's Greens Bistro. An excellent and varied culinary experience was enjoyed by all. Stand out starters included a perfectly executed leek tart and a wonderfully crisp spring roll filled with the freshest white crab meat. Mains were just as appetising with particular applause for the succulent sea bass and a wonderful piece of local duck cooked to perfection . No room for puddings, but the bread was warm and crusty and the whole thing was complimented with a sharp Sauvignon Blanc from NZ and a heartening Australian Merlot. Service is attentive, but never over the top and the bill for five came to just over £160. Excellent value for such a sophisticated, varied and thought provoking menu. Greens is a little treasure tucked away off St Annes square. It compares very favourably with way better known, way more expensive city establishments.

Surely the most amazing food in The Fylde. Michelin Star produce without Michelin Prices. Very friendly staff, excellent wine list.
