Again probably the best fish and chippy in the area if not the country. I always have the large hake and small chips, mushy peas, bread and butter and pot of tea. speedy service, great staff. big recommendation.

Fish was perfect (Hake) its nice to see a "FISH" and chip shop without a kebab in sight. Perfect with passion for Britains Favourite. Keep up the excellent work.

Called in at the take away at Marsh Mill last night, wow what a place!! First class service from very polite and friendly staff. Fish (John dory)was perfectly cooked, chips were mouth watering, peas were just right and the spicy curry was to die for. Will definitely be back for more. This has to be the best place in Thornton. Keep up the good work guys see you soon.

just arrived back from a fantastic meal at the new Seniors @ Marsh Mill what a stunning shop. The fish was fantastic and the atmosphere was even better i challenge ANYONE to find better value for money than £4.00 for a tasty FISH COMBO and chips which i washed down with a ice cold glass of chardonnay!

Seniors at Marsh Mill, Thornton is their latest restaurant and is well worth a visit. We enjoyed a delicious meal there tonight and would like to wish Rick and family the success they fully deserve. You will enjoy an excellent selection of delicious fish served with great friendliness in modern, comfortable and above all super clean surroundings.

We are frequent visitors to Seniors Restaurant, (March to October) namely because we know we are guaranteed excellent food, service and value. On Saturday 11th June 2005 Senior's Staff excelled themselves that littler bit further. A coach party from The Gateway Club, North Wales had arrived, not once did the staff loose their patience or respect for their guests, the service offered to members of the party and other diners far outweighed 'Customer Service' of the highest calibre. Not only did the staff serve excellent food, they served it speedily, efficiently and more important than that, they served the meal with a smile. Seniors Staff deserved the applaud of all the guests in the Restaurant that evening. They certainly gained a coach party of friends who will only be too happy to recommend Seniors Restaurant to other Gateway Groups. Well done to all the staff and see you all very soon.

This is often a Friday night treat for us. The fish (any fish), the chips and the mushy peas are always done to perfection. The staff, particularly the girls in the restaurant are brilliant at their job, helpful, friendly and efficient. The choice of wine and beer makes this an excellent dining experience for us to start a well deserved weekend. Well done guys, you have got it spot on!

It was absolutely off the SCALE! I went in there with my family for the first time, I had such COD time! I especially loved the halibut!

Ate here last night for the first time since the revamp and thoroughly enjoyed it. Nicely decked out, packed (always a good sign), and plenty of choice on the menu which is what really did it for me (although the John Dory had sold out). Only slight quibble would be that you had to ask for the sauces and when they arrived they were in those dreadful little tubes that are a nightmare to open. But overall, far far superior to your standard 'chippy' experience.-
