An absolutely brilliant venue, had a private party at Christmas and the food music everything was amazing.
The Staff friendly unobtrusive and very polite even thought we were there late, nothing was too much trouble.
My favourite dish by far were the prawns and mushrooms, the blokes loved the steaks. Put a visit on your to do list you will not be disappointed
I am looking to book my wedding breakfast and will definitely be enrolling for the cookery lessons.

went with 10 friends most really fussy and 3 veggies, all was dealt with ease, what a refreshing change to go to a bistro that cares and more surprisingly where the staff actually understand the customers needs, and thanks to the chef for the most delicious veggy banquet my friends and i will be back soon, p.s loved the mushroom pot and the peruvian stewon something i would normally choose but wow fantastic if a little weird !

Not too bad, not really good tapas very quickly brought to the table from ordering ala microwave!!, have been twice and both times bread has been stale and with tapas fresh bread is an absolute essential. Also not too fond of the chefs passion for drowning all his dishes with blue dragon sweet chilli sauce and to be honest don't know what all the talk is about for this place very average throughout but good effort all the same.

Just wanted to say what a lovely time we had at duk, the food was amazing and the staff friendly and polite, we choose the banquet and my friends off menu all were lovely and the prawns oh my god couldn't get enough of them.
We will all return and i would recommend to all as there is something for everyone. Loved the ice cream too great choices of desserts i pinched some of my friends spanglish, a pancake filled with fruit very very good.

So stuffed from all the food had to take some home in s doggy bag.

absolutely brilliant, i cannot say enough about duk and pond they both deliver every time on value, service and quality dishes, the Peruvian stew definitely lives up to its spicy name and the staff are great very helpful and they know the menu which is great. Can't wait to go again and would recommend to all.

We looked forward to a fantastic meal at Duk on our first Saturday night out for ages but that was not the case & such a shame as we have friends that have eaten there & enjoyed the food. Sadly we had a poor meal, the portions where small & overpriced...3 pieces of steak for 10 pounds shocking. The chicken bhat was bland & the morrocan lamb left me feeling it had no taste of Morroco. Service was great but for the price we paid (£64.00 fpr 2 people) it needs to be backed up by better food. We will not visit again sadly

A group of friends and i visited duk recently and i felt compelled to write, we had the most delicious unusual food i have ever tasted, we opted for the chef banquet and it certainly delivered good food and the right price with choice that i would probably never have chosen on my own, the Peruvian stew is to die for and the salads amazing, the gambas was plumb and juicy and wow the puddings i can feel the weight piling on but its worth every inch, please tell all you know to visit this little gem is superb

After trying the restaurant puddleduk, i was shopping in Preston and decided to try duk, the flag ship i believe? mainly to see if they lived up to their reputation and my goodness they did the food was delicious and the service quick and attentive, the coffee hot and strong and the bill reasonable, would suggest visitors try the gambas the ribs and the blueberry steak, i can see how they got the taste lancashire award they have proudly on the bar, pity its not in the window, i will recommend and will try pond as well, the young lady in duk said its just around the corner.

Me and my husband decided to pop into duk after hearing very good feedback from one of our friends, we went in and was greeted and took over to our table, the staff were lovely and really helpful, we decided to try a few of the chefs specials and they were delicious and really good value for money. Just want to thank all at duk we will spread the word and will be back!
