Good pub with open fires in a rural spot on the Fylde coast.

Really good home cooked food at reasonable prices very freindly staff, we now visit on a regular basis and cannot fault it. A real pub with real people, good ale and log fires - they deserve to be successful.

We visited this pub for Sunday Lunch and felt compelled to make a review as the food was without doubt the worst I have had the misfortune to encounter. We should have been warned when one of the only 2 other couples in the pub sent there food back. We had turkey and leek pie. The turkey was actually processed stuffed turkey roll, but there was precious little of that with the bulk being potatoes- We couldn't find any leeks! The pastry was raw and inedible. It was all covered in a dark gloppy mass which I believe was gravy! I cannot believe this place gets any return customers

Had a brilliant night on Saturday with Frank Flynn and his mad band. Food was excellent. So much so that we booked for Sunday lunch with friends. Absolutely great Roast and 3 courses were under a tenner!

I have visited this pub a few times recently no atmosphere although beer and food is ok. music that was on was dire but I probably picked wrong nite would benefit from having an Irish group on I guarantee when word got around it would be full on a Saturday night

A gem nestling deep in the Fylde countryside. Food is excellent. My wife had a Harvester Salad which had everything you could think of plus four meats and five local cheeses! Superb. Beer is in first class order which you would expect as the Landlord is a previous CAMRA Publican of the Year. We spend each weekend finding country pubs. this one is a great find.
