Hare and Hounds

Over priced pub food sums it up, waiting staff dont know what they are doing half of the time and are stood there doing nothing or stood behind the bar in the restaurant playing with a laptop. Service not so great food average. wont be in a rush to go back.

I have visited the hare and hounds on numerous occasions with the family. We often dine in the Heath restaurant, and have not once had a bad thing to say. Food: always hot, good portions, very good value, don't have to pay extra for vegetables/chips, very flexible on menu Service: friendly staff in bar and restaurant, relaxed yet professional, very efficient and there when you need something. Atmoshphere: when busy its lively and enjoyable, and when its quiet, its nice relaxing and very personal. This is a bar and restaurant that is a hidden gem, and if you haven't tried it, you're missing out.

Went to Heaths last night 31/3/2012. We have visited this pub/restaurant 3 times now and have never been disappointed in either the food or the service. Menu was good and 3 of us easily found something we all liked. Food was hot, flavoursome and served quickly even though they were quite busy. Service was excellent as always,even helping my 82 year old mum up and down the steps. Prices wont break the bank and the views from the patio are amazing. There is a bar menu and a restaurant menu but we haven't tried the bar menu yet. We will definitely go again and can heartily recommend you visit.
