Ate at Raja's last night. Wonderful curry, but Bhaji's a tad on the sad side and I do have to say I thought slightly on the expensive side

We've eaten at Raja's for years and love it. The food is authentic and delicious. The service is friendly and attentive. Long may it prosper.

I never really liked Indian food until i sampled the cuisine at Raja's. Since then i go back on a regular basis and no Indian restaurant matches. I have got to say it is the best in the world!! The waiters are very friendly and always have a smile on there faces.

I take my wife and daughter here on a regular basis. We have been eating here for about 15 years. Always a great dining experience. Now in the good food guide. You don't get in that for nothing.

This is my local Tandoori; I go here on average 2 times per month. The food is very consistent and the prices average for a Tandoori of this nature. The waiters are very friendly and polite and with the place being quite physically small there is usually a very cosy atmosphere. The obvious down side to this is, on a Friday night it is VERY busy with people queuing to get in! Another plus is that the owner Raja himself, is always there keeping check on the chefs and helping the waiters. Also this may seem a bit snobby, but the people who go there are smart well to do with people, which is good considering the location. I have been in curry houses in the same area and have been annoyed with drunk rude boys with their mobile phones and rowdiness in general. Rajas is in my view a more relaxed and slightly more formal Tandoori of Harehills (if that makes sense!)

An old favourite! Superb Punjabi food cooked in full view. Lovely tender meat dishes, the fish pakora to die for or veggie choices. Suits all tastes. Friendly family atmosphere early evening. Could do with no smoking policy.
