Great food, great service, great surroundings and atmosphere.

We are regulars at salute and we love it!! Food is excellent, service is superb and the surroundings are lovely. They always really look after us when we visit and even remember our son's name! Yes the food is not cheap but it is worth it. Well worth a visit.

I've visited Salute a few dozen times since they relocated from Oulton. The food is consistently excellent and it is rare to be disappointed with any aspect of a visit.

We often visit just for a drink, and although a little more expensive then pubs in the area, it more than makes up for this in service and ambiance.

On many occasions when we have visited early in the evening for the Early Bird menu we brought our baby daughter and received a wonderful welcome from the staff. This really makes a difference.

In summary: the best restaurant for miles around.

visited salute on Monday night for the first time since January had a great night food was very nice, Service very fast a professional, Very nice wine list, We would Highly Recommend you visit.

Eaten here a few times & never been disappointed, the Sunday lunch is especially good.Drinks are a bit pricey though for what is at best a gastropub & along with the other reviewers i agree that the service charge is v.cheeky.

We've eaten here a couple of times as its great to have a decent restaurant in Rothwell. The food is lovely and the service is good too. However, it is vastly overpriced for what it is. I think we're paying for the refurb and new location personally. Come on guys, it is Rothwell not the city centre!

Like the new premises, great ambience with singer/musician, holiday feel. Got the tandoori seabass with noodles, very good, although should come with a side-veg/sideline. Partner got chicken ala creme, sauce a little bland although overall he enjoyed the dish. The food at the restaurant very well presented. Overall a great place to dine ..although One snag.. we were rather annoyed on receiving bill that a 'service charge ' of £5 was added for 2 to dine! Surely this should be on the menu in small-print(or is it..in magnify print!?.) plus why a SC?.. come on.. We are in Rothwell not London!

Lovely new premises although I still preferred the old premises at Woodlesford. The food is still great and the ambience lovely. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

We visited salute on Monday night, it was our first time at the new restaurant. we were very impressed the place was very smart and welcoming, Food was outstanding and service was very good, we were made very welcome we will be back for Christmas

Overall was very impressed with the food and lively surroundings, although we had a table booked a week in advance and on the night had to wait over 30 mins to be seated - maybe they should consider doing away with reservations altogether? Is a joy to finally have a restaurant in Rothwell - would like to see a couple more for some healthy competition.

Salute's new restaurant at the old White Swan is a real success. No longer the cheap and cheerful bistro it once was when in Oulton it is now a paid up member of the classy restaurant club.

Good menu, great choice, friendly staff and a real shot in the arm for Rothwell.

Let's hope the standard is maintained.
