Another great Sunday lunch here today with the Mediterranean Vegetable Crumble with the most imaginative yummy-scrummy salad. This Cafe has to win the first prize for its inventive salads. The crumbles are our favourite dish here too. A great afternoon all told.
We have been here after a long time. The lunch - aubergine, mushrooms, tomato and basil crumble with a most delicious and yummy salad to go with it - was superb. Shan't make it that long before we are back here again.
We had a great Sunday lunch here. The weather was a real mix - spells of rain, sleet and even snow! So it was good to sit near the fire in this cosy cafe. We had Chickpea, Peas and Spinach Curry with Pitta bread and also a Mediterranean Vegetable Crumble. Both came with very imaginative, scrumptious salads. We also had a warm, plum and apple slice with soya cream. It was wonderful cooking and we had a most pleasant meal experience. We shall certainly come again soon.
Whenever we visit Bradford we try and come for our lunch here. The bean enchilada is my favourite dish. The accompanying scrumptious salad is simply brilliant. It's a great little café in a picturesque square. I can heartily recommend this café to vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike.
While we were visiting my sister-in-law and her husband, we came here for our lunch on Saturday. I had the vegetable crumble with cheese on top. It was simply divine. The accompanying salad was absolutely scrumptious. I am a vegetarian so I have a pretty good idea about vegetarian dishes. This café is certainly a gem. I look forward to our next visit north.
I was on holiday visiting my sister and brother-in-law. They took us to this vegetarian café. I had the vegetable and goat's cheese flan. It was simply the most delicious flan I have ever tasted. Although I am not vegetarian, I am certainly looking forward to my next visit here.
My vegan friends in Shipley took me to this lovely vegetarian café in Thornton. I had a cheese enchilada with a gorgeous salad to accompany it. The chocolate cake was simply delicious. I am not vegetarian but I shall certainly come here again.
I was visiting my friends in Shipley and they took me to this great vegetarian eating place in Thornton. All three of us had the vegetable crumble and it was simply yummy. The side salad was a work of mouth-watering art. I am very partial to coconut and as the desserts menu had pineapple and coconut cake listed on it, I naturally ordered it. And I am glad I did as it was delicious. I am not vegetarian and I have also run a café of my own previously, so when I say this is a brilliant little café, it's because I do know the café business and know what I am talking about.
I am not a vegetarian but I love to eat the meals that my Vegan friends cook for me. It was they who introduced me to this great little Vegetarian Café in Thornton. On the day we visited, the Specials Board had a Vegetables, Mushrooms and Almond Crumble. It was simply divine. And it came with a most wonderful salad! I award you full marks for your cooking skills. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and I look forward to my next visit.
I live and work in London and whenever I visit my Mum and Dad we try and go for a walk on a Sunday morning and finish up for lunch at this cosy Vegetarian Café. The spicy fruit cordial is very refreshing after a long, brisk walk. I also love the bean enchiladas accompanied by the scrumptious salad. The food here has always been great and we've never been disappointed.
I am a French citizen, and have been teaching French in schools in Heckmondwike on a short term contract. Being vegetarian I was feeling lonely and lost here, but fortunately made contact with a vegan couple in Shipley. They invited me over to their home for a weekend and took me to this delightful vegetarian restaurant. I had a leek, potato and goat's cheese flan which was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately I was full of cold and so did not have the appetite to try the tempting puddings. You Bradford people are very fortunate to have this great restaurant that you can eat in. I wish something like this would open in my home town in France!
The vegetable crumbles are my favourite, - with varieties such as mushroom and almond; aubergine, olives and courgette; etc. The scrumptious accompanying salad makes it the most perfect meal. The soups are deliciously awesome too!
Barbara's salads are absolutely scrumptious and they come in very generous portions too. The crumbles on the specials board are hard to resist. There is always a choice for vegans. The prices are reasonable. The craft shops and the art gallery are added attractions. I only wish it was nearer to our home but that doesn't deter us from being regulars!
Lovely: tasty food, large veggie menu, good portions
This is a great place to eat at any time. The food is always good value with a varied specials board. Most meals come with a good sized and tasty side salad. It can get busy at weekend lunchtimes but you can reserve if you need to. The art galleries in the rest of the building have a regular programme of exhibitions.
