Visited on 26th of August, and was very impressed by the decor and the atmosphere. That said, let's get on to the food. The patatas bravas were deep fried frozen potato wedges with a spicy and very tomatoey sauce poured over the top. The meatballs were priced at over 5 pounds, and when they came it was clear they were bought in, we only got 3, and they had the same silly sauce that the bravas had. The chorizo, although authentic sausage, was meant to be cooked in red wine, but I can assure you that this portion had never seen red wine in it's life. Also, I would give a bigger portion to a new born hamster. The Morcilla (black pudding) I must say was authentic and very tasty. The bread and ali oli which was complimentary was also very welcome, but as someone who spent all his childhood and teens in spain, this must be the most unauthentic set of tapas I have ever tried. Shame.

if you like original tapas with a nice backdrop at a decent price then try this venue.

Please pass on this negative feedback. Went here for a meal last night, all very reasonably priced but very disappointed with the product. Patatas bravas, sauce was nice enough, but the potatos were merely frozen wedges, they also came out after 5 mins so god knows how long they were sat there. Fishfingers - I'd expected a nice cut of fish in freshly battered and deep fried, I actually got frozen fishfingers. Prawns in garlic - the prawns were the size of nail cuttings, in fact the chunks of garlic were larger. Meatballs, sauce again ok, but the meatballs themselves were processed and rubbery. All in all a very disappointing experience and I am positive that I could do better at home. If the owners are Spanish they should be ashamed, delivering fresh produce is not difficult to do. The place was empty but for one other couple, it could have been heaving. Also please get rid of that ridiculous fountain.

Found this place purely by chance last Saturday evening. Looks really inviting from the road but even better inside. Truly " a little bit of spain in the UK" with bags of ambience, very friendly staff and superb tapas. We had 7 tapas to share between two with lots of bread and that was just about right. Gorgeous chicken with five beans and chorizo, very tasty manchego cheese, spicy meatballs etc etc etc. Please give it a go. Like previous reviewers I cannot recommend it enough.

Cannot recommend highly enough! The food was fabulous, great choice and very well cooked and presented. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and is very friendly and cosy. Good wine list and good range of drinks. Would definitely recommend this to anyone!

Who would have thought it! Spain in Lindley. This little village just out of Huddersfield is quite superb. We ate on a Sunday and the food and atmosphere were very very good. We had a mixture of Tapas, its what they do, marinated mixed olives £1.00 18 months old cured ham from the bone,(this was so good we had 2 extra portions) £2.95. Garlic potatoes with slices of wild boar £2.95 king prawns on skewers £4.50 grilled chicken on skewers £3.50 borletti beans with bacon £2.95. and finally Spanish meatballs in tomato sauce £3.50. Fresh bread was continually offered and don? think at these prices the portions are small. We were well and truly stuffed and there were 3 of us. All in all a really good experience. i am told in the evenings the patron even get his guitar out for a few Spanish renditions. cant praise it high enough. just go.
