Totally fabulous food and dinning environment at Dough Bistro. Can definitely see why it has won so many awards. Molecular magic on the 9 course tasting menu, was absolutely superb and we are having our Christmas do here! Can't rave about this place enough! And you must try the cocktails!!!

Superbly cooked food, but small portions and expensive.
small and cosy with overloud irritating music.

I booked a table for myself and my partner around a week in advance for a Friday night to celebrate our anniversary. We were greeted as soon as we came in and we ordered from the set menu. The service was excellent, no complaints at all. The food came out fairly quickly and was simply yummy! Best steak I've ever had! My partner said it was the best food she'd ever had and i must agree with her, we had a thoroughly enjoyable, romantic meal. Anyone looking for a place for a romantic meal, look no further!

Absolutely the best food i've ever eaten in Leeds. The pork is just the best piece of meat i've ever had and the desserts are to die for! Deserve all the awards and can't wait to go back!
Red Wine Fiend
Fantastic restaurant, thoroughly deserving all the awards. Still let you bring your own wine even though they've got a new bar next door connected by an arch. Really friendly, but quiet, probably because of the world cup. The sirloin marinated in soya source with mango salsa and chilli and ginger salad is a must try! The fish, can't remember what it was, was exceptionally delicate and the pave au chocolate and chilli and orange is my favourite ever dessert. Still very cheap for what they offer. And now open on a lunch!

I was very pleased to see that Luke Downing, had won the Best Chef Award at the recent Oliver Awards; as I recently ate at his restaurant and it was exceptional! With a tempting selection of food on the menu and some unique and special touches thrown in (for example the earl grey flavoured sorbet), the meal from start to finish was fantastic! The best thing is the menu changes every other day so I know my next visit (which will be very soon!) will be just as memorable! YOU must go!!!

What a fantastic find!! Had the most amazing meal - 4 courses for £25, squid was cooked to perfection, yorkshire beef fillet was amazing with a chianti sauce and the most delicious home made pate and crispy onions...beautiful desserts AND the option to take your own wine so a much more economical way of getting some great food (and lots of local produce which was lovely to see). Best meal out in a long time...and have eaten in some great places over Christmas so that really is saying something!
Really chilled atmosphere, small but not crowded and staff were exceptional.
Watch out for this chef....if the meal we had was anything to go by, he's destined for great things!!!!

Visited Dough last Friday. Their £25 set menu is amazing value - starter, sorbet, main course and dessert included. They're fully licensed, but you can bring your own wine - with no corkage charge! Great food, really fresh and cooked to order. Helpful staff - offered to cook anything my vegetarian companion could suggest, even if not on menu.

Dough is simply brilliant I couldn't recommend it highly enough. Freshly prepared top quality food, great atmosphere, friendly service and you can bring your own wine even though they are fully licensed. They now also open for Sunday lunch which is a real family friendly occasion.
