My midweek visit to Luna Rossa was very pleasant. It was my first visit, celebrating my birthday, and my girlfriend and I arrived early. We were immediately greeted by a courteous waiter and seated in a soothingly decorated environment. Soft Italian music added to the general romantic ambiance. The menu was broad enough to cater for all tastes - from the tame to the adventurous. We shared a garlic bread tomato to start, and we were not disappointed. My girlfriend had one of the Salmon dishes and stated that "it's the nicest Salmon that I have ever had," though she was very hungry and therefore may have been slightly swayed in her statement! :) I had the Callaloni which was also very enjoyable. Overall a very pleasant eating experience. The portions were adequate, though I would have been more satisfied if I had been presented with some vegetables or bread to accompany my main course. However, this did mean that I had room for a chocolate and orange slice for desert, which bordered on the divine. :D I will be returning to this establishment.
