Thoroughly enjoyed the food - it was a birthday treat. Thought the restaurant was extremely clean and the decor very tasteful. However, what is this restaurant seating arrangement on a not-so-busy evening where the outsides of the restaurant, next to the windows, are filled up first so that from the outside it looks busy. Because we were a party of two and the waitress felt the nicer and more spacious table should be reserved for the four it could hold (even though no one else entered the restaurant after us and there were plenty of spare tables in the middle), we were placed as near to the window as to be in view on a table for two which unfortunately was squashed next to the stairs so we looked at a wall. Not very impressive when the middle of the restaurant was spacious and looked much more comfortable - very disappointed about that! Had the food not been so good, I doubt I would be returning.

sorry but i wouldn't recommend this restaurant on a weekend night. we had a table for 2 Saturday just gone. it was very busy but that's no excuse. OK it was only 57quid for 2 but i still don't want to be treated like cattle. they forgot to take drinks order, they forgot to bring bread with the starters and my main course of fish had more bones then was acceptable. to top it all we had a table of abour 20 girls alongside who couldn't have been louder if they tried. very average and terrible atmosphere/conditions/service

Absolutely fabulous evening and the new bar area upstairs is lovely. Our party of 20 were all extremely impressed with the food, the price and the atmosphere. The profiteroles are to die for. I have recommended it to several people who have all loved it. The best Italian restaurant by far.

Not bad for a quick bite to eat before hitting the town with the lads. Good food but the portions are a little small.

An early Sun. Christmas eve. Visit was a relaxing start to our hols. A couple of large groups, with children, were already in and the size of the restaurant means that it can absorb this without it being uncomfortable. Meaning, sometimes the noise from large groups can be off-putting for couples. The service was quick and efficient without being intrusive. The decor is striking in silver, black and white and it is very clean throughout. Another two family groups arrived and still the atmosphere was pleasant. The food was well proportioned and very tasty - the wine excellent and along with its reasonable price, QUO VADIS comes highly recommended. A nice touch was a free boxed Italian cake as we left. NB: Be sure to get a ticket for your car in the 24/7 council carparks!!

The staff were extremely friendly. The food was good; they made a small portion for my seven year old son. The price was reasonable; overall I was happy with the evening out.
