After reading the reviews on here for the Spice City Restaurant I decided to take my Husband and Son along to see for ourselves!
We found the Spice City presenting beautiful high quality food, wonderful helpful and friendly staff!
Overall a delightful evening out! we will most certainly be dining again at the Spice City which has the potential of becoming our most favourite Indian Restaurant in Liverpool!
Thanks for a most delicious banquet!
I just had the business lunch (my first visit since 03 when i wasn't impressed) and it was out of this world. The new owners make more of an effort than the last ones! the veg madras is amazing and so are the prices! I'm gonna be a regular!
Visited Spice City for the first time on April 3rd and was quite nervous as I'd been asked to pick the restaurant for a night out! The service was great, waiters were very friendly and attentive. But the food? Without doubt one of the finest Indian meals I've ever had. I eat a lot of spicy food, but some of the tastes here were completely new to me. Every forkful just melted in the mouth and the presentation was stunning. Everyone in my group was very impressed and Spice City goes straight to the top of my fave places to eat list. Superb.
I Have been to Spice City a few times and i will continue to go back, It is a really welcoming friendly/family friendly environment the staff are all really nice and the food is spectacular. Well done to Niz, Ryan and the rest of the staff there you guys have really changed my mind on indian foods and you 2 are the best in the world.... See you soon
Natz and Mike
P.S. I HIGHLY RECOMMENED
We've eaten in nearly every Indian restaurant in Liverpool but the food in Spice City is second to none.Since Niz took over a few years ago the food has gone from good to fantastic. The staff are so friendly and are very attentive to your needs --but at the same time do not rush you and respect your privacy.I cannot recommend spice city highly enough --GET DOWN THERE and try it for yourself you wont be disappointed. LINDA AND LEN.
We went here on Valentines night. At first was a bit dubious having an Indian on Valentines, but now highly recommend it. The Valentines decorations and each lady receiving a free rose really added to the atmosphere. The the food came which was so tasty! Service was great too on such a busy night. We will definitely be back with all our friends!!
Spice City is by far the best Indian Restaurant in Liverpool and trust me I have been to quite a few. Amazing traditional Indian food and the with a lot of variety on the menu compared to other Indian restaurants, great recommendations from the staff tailored to your needs. The staff are very welcoming and make every effort to get to know you, it also has a very friendly atmosphere. I would definitely recommend Spice City.
great food and service. the staff are always pleasant and helpful. highly recommended
Went on Easter Sunday, we have been coming for years and strongly recommend this restaurant. Niz and all the staff are really friendly and the food first class. They are now doing a Sunday curry club at a reasonable cost. Go, you will enjoy.
The food here is absolutely gorgeous! The service is fantastic and all of the staff are really friendly. We have been several times in the evening, and plan on going for the lunch menu soon! Particularly love the chicken pathia!!
I Love Indian food and have been to many Restaurants over the years, and I can say that spice City is head and shoulders above the rest in terms of the quality of there food everything is so moreish i have tried most dishes now and can't pick a favourite the waiters are great lads and are always helpful and have a good laugh with you try it out you will be back for more
We have been going to the City Balti House for years; we love the place and its even better now, new name and new owner. Niz the owner is lovely also Max and the rest of the staff. Niz is slowly changing the place it was a hovel when he took over and I bet it will be great when he has finished. We wish you all the best Niz and staff.
We arranged a 50th Bday party with 40 guests, everybody was served at the same time, the food was amazing, and very cheap. With arranging a party for a such a big number, the manager Niz arranged a small but great menu to help suit every bodies needs and to allow the food to be served quickly and keep everybody happy. Overall, this was a great experience, i would recommend Spice City to anyone. I have been back several times myself and i know people who were in my party who didn't even like Indian food before there visit have also been back their.
Food was an excellent standard as you would expect from the owners of the Parade Tandoori (takeaway located in L15). Refurbishments are on-going. Nevertheless, would strongly advise for lovers Indian food.
