Four of us went for the first time last saturday - but it wont be the last time we go there! We had a wonderful meal sitting a booth upstairs. The service was impeccable and the food superb. Highly recommended

Yes its me again, Had lunch yesterday, fab atmosphere, fab food as always, have to say felt sorry for Caeser who was running front of house on his own, as always with a smile on his face but given the phone was ringing, 3 people came into book AND he still had to take orders, he passed with flying colours but perhaps a helping hand could be given? Still didn't stop us booking a birthday party and Christmas night out. If you haven't been yet, you are missing out. Just remember the key words 'Caesar where are my chips!!' enjoy.

Love it Love it Love it. I have been 3 or 4 times and every time was excellent. My partner and I eat out as often as possible, and I have to say this is my favourite place to go. There is not one thing I could complain about (except perhaps I do not get there enough) Food, Service and surroundings are all top notch at a very reasonable price.

Went to Kozi last week and found it to be excellent all round. A great looking restaurant with very friendly staff.
I had the steak and my friend had the chicken, both delicious. Puddings were tasty too! I will definitely go there again!
Keep up the good work boys!

Restaurant was recommended to us and by friends who we dined with on a Saturday night. From stepping in the door until we left the staff were very attentive. Food was some of the nicest I've had in a very long while. Beef rolls to start, lamb for the main course and sticky toffee pudding for dessert. House white was very good. Only slight downside is due to the small size the noise can get quite high, so you end up chatting at volume! Also, smokers converging outside the front door and their vile stench blowing back in and over non-smokers.

This weekend (3.11.07) was the third time we went to Kozi's restaurant in Rainhill and i have to say it just gets better. The bar on the first floor is very comfortable, the staff very friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is very relaxing. Our table was ready in about 5 mins, the food was cooked to perfection and the service outstanding. This restaurant would not be out of place in Barcelona. Highly recommended, you should pay it a visit.

Decided to go to Kozi for the second time, took my folks my aunt and my 11yr old son, had a lovely Sunday lunch, our waiter Caesar was a hoot(thanks for my teacake)service was excellent, food was fantastic, we had a lovely time, going back on Sunday with the girls,£10 you cant beat that.

Review by Lindsey (7th October 2007)

Lovely food, well presented and tasty, but thing that made it for me was the atmosphere. Staff were very friendly and professional. Looked after everyone with huge personalities. Loved every minute being there. Felt like I was on holiday not Rainhill. I recommend anyone going there for the experience of the food, service and ambience. Special hello to Cesar and Tamsin x

Visited Kozi for the first time (Monday evening) to try it out at last... glad we did. The waiter was very welcoming and attentive and slightly 'eccentric' in a good way! Food was excellent value for money, well presented and very tasty! We will hopefully now be regular visitors.

Review by Vis3 (23rd July 2007)

Had a Sunday meal here & although food, Service & the restaurant decor were great, the location was pretty poor with awfull views looking out of the window (train station & what looks like disused garage or something). Our meal was taken about 2 hours after it opened for Sunday lunch & they had already ran out of the chicken which was suprising considering the size of the venu. So now with about 25% less available on the menu I went for the beef which was perfect, but to top that the veg was even better (Just try the carrots mmmmmm). However on a final moan> They also ran out of tea bags! :(

On reflection as a whole I would recommend this place & I will more than likely visit it again in the future, but only when it's not too busy (It's a small place) as you'll never know what they'll run out of

Found this place on sugarvine and thought we would give it a try when looking for somewhere to go for my mums birthday. So glad we did...Choices of starters were yum yum yum, had the cod with peas and bacon as a main which was delicious and we all ordered a dessert and because an extra one just so we knew what it tasted like - The Eton Mess was lip smackingly tasty. Would highly recommend this restaurant as a place to eat.

Love this place am a regular now! Small menu, but beautifully cooked Staff very attentive and make you feel nothing is too much trouble and its on my doorstep Lunches are also extremely good!

Review by Elaine (1st June 2007)

To be totally honest, we had heard mixed reviews. Decided to try for ourselves and am so glad we did. Really couldn't fault a thing. Food and atmosphere fantastic, cost very reasonable and the staff were lovely. Our waiter was as mad as a box of frogs in the nicest possible way, particularly when we ordered a cheese board and a pair of blue rubber gloves became involved!!

Cannot rate this place highly enough and right on the doorstep. Going again next week.
