We recently visited the Olive Grove restaurant and feel we have found a little gem. We will DEFINITELY be going back. The service was excellent and to food beautiful, The atmosphere was very relaxing and the restaurant cosy and inviting. We traveled 40 miles from North Wales to go, and the journey was well worth it. Excellent *****

Family visit for six two of us had never eaten Greek. Pleasant waitress recommended the the Meze. Turned out to be an excellent introduction to both the food and the restaurant. A real taste of many main restaurant items . Well cooked and served. Service was good without being overpowering and we all enjoyed the leisurely atmosphere. Very reasonable given the quality. We will return

We went here last night with four other family members. We ate in the restaurant upstairs. Neither my wife or I had experienced Greek cooking before. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and would go again without any hesitation.
We experienced excellent food full of flavour, very good service, and the whole ambience of the Olive Grove made for us an event we shall remember for quite a while. The Meze was delicious.

Went to the Olive Grove tonight and had an absolutely beautiful meal! Food was of an excellent standard and we were not hurried in any way. The very best meal we have had anywhere on the Wirral in a long time with absolutely NO complaints about anything. Will definitely go back again.

Went here with my sister in law and had a lovely unhurried meal. Great authentic food in lovely surroundings.

The food was absolutely excellent. Also the retsina, though a blackboard advertising organic Greek wine should have been scrubbed, since none was on offer. Unfortunately on a blustery night, our table was near an often-open outside door and by a loudspeaker blaring out Greek music. Also the smell of cigarette smoke was noticeable towards the end of the meal. I expect asking for a more secluded quieter table might help, and after July 1st smoke should no longer be a problem.

Really good food and wine, we had a mixed starter, 1 fillet dish and 1 beef dish and a bottle of rose wine and it came to £60

I have just read the previous review and completely agree. The food is great, staff very friendly and welcoming and setting unique in the area. You really should try here.

The Olive Grove always lives up to expectations. Lively atmosphere, friendly waiting staff and huge amounts of fabulous food. Also one of the few places in Wirral that embraces a Mediterranean approach to opening hours.
Olive Grove Taverna
Lovely food and friendly service, No smoking in restaurant which is excellent. But unfortunately, allowed in downstairs bar.
