this place has great food, a great wine list and is a great night out particularly if u like live music at the weekend. The lunch menu is the best in south Liverpool

I visited last Monday to celebrate my birthday with a number of my friends. There where ten people in our party the food we were served was of an excellent quality freshly cooked hot and beautifully presented we had a very pleasant evening in fact we enjoyed the quality of food so much that we decided to book our Christmas Day Lunch at The Waiting Room.

I first got to know about this hidden gem when I visited my family in the area. Now I make a point of dining there every time I visit from Canada. It remains a favourite for me and the friends and relatives who have been there with me. The food is fantastic and as good as any I have had at other Liverpool restaurants. The lamb shank is particularly delicious and there is a good selection of appetisers to compliment any entree. There is plenty of variety on the menu and a consistency in quality. Service is good and the staff are friendly and helpful. It is well worth taking the time to dine at the Waiting Room, and you will love the prices.
