Touchwood ! Well worth the little stroll (100yrds or so)off noisy South Rd, I wasn't aware it existed. But what a find ! a Calm, warm and friendly atmosphere, A full Tapas menu with Specials like Lobster and Paella, a continental range of beers and real ale. Food was excellent, friends will be taken next time when we will stay for the live music. Turn that corner, let yourself go and find something special!! Bob and Sheila.

Forget the thought of Spanish Tapas; this is a mix of tasty bites most with a spicy, middle eastern feel. They do a deal sometimes for six tapas and a bottle of wine; it's excellent value. I've been there several times and each time they never disappoint. Candles on the table, occasional live music; it's fab. Don't go on a Monday, it's poker night so no food!

TOUCHWOOD - if you find it YOU'VE JUST HIT GOLD !!
Off South Rd Waterloo round the corner from the station. We love going to Touchwood. The TAPAS is really fresh and you can taste individual ingredients and aroma's of fresh herbs FAB. Some alternative beers and real ale - cool. We took some friends with us last Thursday, smart bar - friendly customers and staff. It was Open Mic night so my mate got up and sung for her Tapas. WELL WORTH A RETURN VISIT - YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.

Just off the busy South Rd, we went on Sat. night. A little gem of a place, light and airy continental style bar. Great selection of beers and wine. Tapas was fresh and you could tell it was cooked to order. Taste-tastic ! relaxed friendly atmosphere and some live music. Welcoming staff and spot on service. Cost; Good Value for money.
