Having dipped in and out of this restaurant over the last ten years with mixed experiences (the worst being under the ownership of Marco Pierre White). I was pleasantly surprised to have a memorably evening. The restaurant itself - an original turn 1900's opulent setting is without question one of the most beautiful and authentic in London. The welcome addition of seating for the bar area at the front allowed for a little pre-dinner tipple. A mix up with our booking times meant that we missed out on our £25 3 course special which looked great value as opposed to @ £30 for 2 courses from the a la carte with drinks ended up @ £75 a head. Service was good and the foie gras parfait was to die for but the risotto was forgettable.
