Oriental Express is a group of takeaways offering Chinese and Thai dishes, located in Salford, Northenden and Stretford. They are a new breed of takeaway restaurants, modern, super clean and great value. The owners also have Umami Japanese noodle and sushi restaurant on Oxford Road in Manchester. Whether you are collecting or having your meal delivered you will be impressed by the packaging, if collecting you can see that all the food is cooked on each premises, fresh to order. The menu is designed so you choose a main course ingredient say Chicken, Beef or King Prawn and then select one of 18 sauces, another nice touch is that you can personalise your dish by adding a finishing flavour such as Cashews or chopped spring onions. The starters also feature Dim Sum such as Har Kau and Shui Mai. Chefs Specials include Cantonese Roast Duck Breast or Salt and Pepper Crispy Chicken.
