The best chinese food I have ever eaten bar none - its prices are slightly higher than your typical chinese, but that reflects the portions and sheer quality of each dish. Add to that the luxurious decor and cosy lighting which is all to often missing from chinese restaurants, plus great service - I cannot recommend this place enough!

Nice little restaurant in Didsbury, I have been a few times with my girlfriend and a group of friends and love the atmosphere esp on friday/saturday night. Would highly recommend to book as it gets full very early. Price was a bit pricey but the food was excellent and generous portions. Great wine menu, and the staff are really nice to talk to.

Went last weekend again to here. As usual, great food and service. We had booked and thank goodness we had as the place was full by 1900hrs and as far as I could see was goin to be all night! My female friend , who is a big fan of this establishment was also impresses as usual.

We went to the Laughing Buddha for a meal after reading the good reviews. I certainly wasn't disappointed. The restaurant was a little quiet midweek which is a shame because this place ought to be full every night. This is simply great food. We had the buffet meal for two. it was all delicious. I have never had prawn toast this good, the main dishes were exceptionally good but by the time these were served we already content. We will be going here again for sure.

Third time we have dined here and again not disappointed at all. Food tasted great and the service was great too. Suggest people look at the offer to eat early on stated evenings as it works out very inexpensive for a great meal.

Quality food and quality service. I never thought I would find anything other than a mediocre chinese restaurant out of the city centre. Great take out and delivery service also.

Delicious oriental food with no MSG anywhere in sight. Forget the typical Chinese.. this is REAL oriental food. Finger-licking good food and generous portions! Also, as far as prices go, this is more than reasonable for both what's on offer and location!

This is the best Chinese I have been to. Can not fault it, It manages to be a city centre standard restaurant in the burbs. The staff are so friendly and professional, and the food is the best ever. I wont eat anywhere else now. Highly recommended.

Absolutely fantastic! Visited twice now and excellent food and service both times. Would recommend for small or larger groups.

The decor is unpretentious but stylish, the menu comprehensive & reasonable and the proprietor has a genuine love of the culture & food. The atmosphere was relaxed and intimate and the food excellent. We will definately be making this a regular haunt.
