Visited the Cedar Tree once again, this time not for a theme night but for an a la carte meal. Food as always was excellent and another string to Rachels bow, she cooked the food and it was amazing. Her husband should watch out! Back again soon for the Rat Pack night once again. I had a Lancashire grill starter, Black Pudding, Mushroom, cheese, bacon and Mustard Sauce, yum, followed by Breast of Chicken and Chorizo with Tomato, delish! Looking forward to the Autumn Menu coming out.

i have been on a few occasions to the Cedar Tree with my girlfriends, to the Tickled Pink evenings and we went at easter to the Seafood extravaganza which was on good Friday and i can't fault it, every time it has been excellent!!!! Good atmosphere, fantastic food(each course being a surprise) and entertaining vocalist Elle, she is brilliant!! Booking for 9th November 2007, Tickled Pink night can't wait, looking forward to another awesome night.

We were taken by some friends to the Rat Pack night, brilliant night. The anticipation of what food you will get is quite exciting.

The wine and food was excellent and Rachel a superb hostess. Would highly recommend.

Fine Food, Fine Wine, Excellent Hostess. Have done the Soprano Night, Jazz Night, Rat Pack Night and many others. Back to the Rat Pack again at the end of the month.

What an outstanding venue, I was pleasantly surprised at the service, food & cost of our night out, everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly recommended.

An excellent find, this is a real hidden gem. I would definitely recommend a visit, I was chatting to the owner Rachel who informed me that have a number of events throughout the year, I have requested more information.

My wife and I went to this restaurant on a recommendation, I must say I was absolutely amazed.

We both enjoyed ourselves a great deal, we eat & drank like kings without paying a king's ransom!

I would certainly tell you go and give it a try, I was pleasantly surprised and have already told a number of friends.

Went for the Gourmet Evening recently, starters and main course were excellent but the bought in dessert was a let down.

This restaurant is a pleasant change from chain restaurants and overpriced flash places if you want good well cooked and presented food that is a bit different The only thing it lacks is it is a bit over small and a bit awkward to park but I suspect I will become a regular because of food quality and reasonable pricing. Iam fussy and I liked it.
