Just been June 2011 - No !! sorry. It was expensive and poor. The starter olives were tasteless and from a from a tin which was a shame cos fresh olives are sold in Out Of the blue fish mongers up the road. (should have left at this point) The starter fried aubergines was not as described it was not fresh but was mushy frozen fish cake type microwave standard food. Main course pretty medium bog standard that i could get from any Wetherspoons pub but was £16 for a chicken special.!!! hmmm ..so 2 of us went thinking we'd take the happy hour but cost us £60 !!! in the end for pretty poor food. Disappointing.
Very Annoyed And Upset Customer
We would never ever visit Leos crappy Italian restaurant ever again. We were treated in an appalling manner by the staff and the rude owner. Poor people have no idea how much they upset us. We got our main meal 45 mins after ordering...We got given the full bill and 3 apologies which were despicable in the least.
No manners in this a la crap restaurant. Owner needs to go on a customer service course.
Rant over......Do not visit unless you wanted to be treated like poop.

Went to Leos for my 60th birthday with my family. It was the first time I have been there but would definitely go again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. Excellent service, friendly staff. I always judge a restaurant on how they treat children and my grandchildren, ages 5 and 3, were made very welcome. Lots of colouring sheets and a big bag of crayons. Oh, yes, the food was great too. Really, really good. Couldn't really fault it and am grateful to my daughter for suggesting it. Will definitely go again.

Had a wonderful meal on Saturday at Leos in Chorlton.I haven’t been for about 6 months been out the country but me and my friends always get together when we get back. Had our usual Pepe steaks all round and they were to die for, if it ever changes it should become a steakhouse.
What I like about this restaurant is the excellent consistency of the food and service. I know you have to wait sometimes because all the food is cooked to order, but I would rather wait for a steak where the sauce has been cooked around the meat and you can taste the difference believe me rather than it being premade in a saucepan. It’s also nice to see the staff you can always go there and at least one person will recognise you which is always a good sign to me if staff stay working at a place for a long time. Other restaurants may come and go in Chorlton but for me and my friends the quality and consistency in Leos can’t be compared to.

Recently visited Leo's for a hectic 21st birthday. Many thanks to Debbie, Lou, Douggie and the other staff, for the previous weeks' planning and the faultless and wonderfully accommodating service on the night. Food was impeccable, as always, so much so the family who weren't from Manchester were suitably impressed and have vowed to visit again in the future!
A wonderful, intimate and comfortable little restaurant, which will definitely be frequented again soon. Highly recommended!

Went to Leo'sfor the first time and was underwhelmed to be honest. There was nothing overly wrong with the experience, it's just that th reader reviews on Sugarvine had built it up to be a life changing culinary experience. It wasn't. The food was acceptable, nothing more. My pizza was drowned in garlic mayonnaise for some reason, and did not benefit from it. There was a table for two smack bang in front of the entrance door (draughty, people brushing past), which they tried to seat us - although to their credit they were happy to put us elsewhere when we asked. I wouldn't actively discourage people from trying Leo's but based on my meal there, I wouldn't actively recommend it either.

We recently held a surprise birthday party at Leo's, which was a huge success. The food (as always) was delicious and the service was faultless. Debbie was a brilliant host and made the whole day run smoothly. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and everyone was made to feel very welcome. Everyone who attended, commented on the high standard of food and service. I would highly recommended Leo's!

I've been to Leo's several times and never been disappointed. Gorgeous food, friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere. The early bird menu is really good value and they happily accommodate alterations to dishes for allergy sufferers. Highly recommended!
