At the Ramsbottom 40's weekend (29th-31st of May) what a cracking weekend and it should be a date for everyone's diary. A group of us visited Ramsbottom for the event and noted that Callenders was hosting a 40's sing along on the Sat night. We visited the pub on Friday but decided not to return after the man behind the bar was not very pleasant at all and had quite clearly had one too many!! Our group would have recommended it but after seeing a member of the bar staff behaving in such a way it seems a bit pointless. Needless to say we did not attend the following night. A real shame as all the other bars and cafes were really pleasant. Thanks
