Well the food was really good, the service was terrific and the staff are just so friendly. Couldn't believe the size of the portions and the flavors ...well you have just got to try it when your in Newcastle for the evening

Ive eaten from simla many times sit in and take away, The meals have been very good on every occasion they will change meal choices to suit you. The staff are very good and they will get you a cheap taxi home. Definitely worth a visit.

Very good fresh food. Lovely quite place away from the stag/hen crowd and minus the stadium level music of most surrounding bistros etc. Good value £10.95 limited menu. Recommended.

I have to disagree - it was simply a place full of very drunk people and the staff were very rude - the food was not Indian food - it was cooked badly and fried in old oil. Not at all what I would call an Indian restaurant.
