Little India – HenfieldNice pub, oriented towards diners. Not the cheapest, although the steaks we had there were truly excellent.
Shepherd and Dog Inn – HenfieldGood service, good food, well-served beer (although I have to state that Hall
White Hart – HenfieldFriendly, well-run neighbourhood pub with good beer and excellent food.
The Plough Inn – HenfieldNice venue, imaginative and well-presented food. Will return.
Baloo’s – HenfieldGood beer, good food, good atmosphere, friendly, helpful, always a pleasure.
Royal Oak – HenfieldPleasant rustic pub, with good beer and food that's, well, pizza. The pizzas are very good although, if our experience is anything to go by, the calzone is best avoided.
The Bull Inn – HenfieldNot the most stylish place, but the food's good, and the service attentive.
Bollywood Spice – HenfieldI have to say one of the best Indian places I have been to ever! the new refurb is just amazing as is the food! the family who run it are so nice, the son who manages the place is such nice guy, he know to sell you their food and drinks, im booking my Christmas party their this year, its great for private parties!
Little India – HenfieldThis is a continual favourite because it fits the bill on so many occasions. It is a great pub when the weather is good because the kids can play in the fantastic dedicated area, and there is always plenty of seating. Inside it is cosy and perfect for grown up evenings. The food is centered on the pizzas which are honestly the best I have tried outside of Italy, but they also have a range of other good dishes - my hubby's being the rack of ribs in BBQ sauce. The staff are friendly, and more importantly efficient. Good range of drinks and wine lists. The constant buzz in The Bull no matter the month of year, day of week or the time of day is testimony to its quality and consistency.
The Bull Inn – HenfieldConsistently excellent food and really friendly family too. Highly recommended.
Little India – Henfieldi loved this place. it was amazing! the atmosphere was great! the service was great, the food was great, and the family were great! they made us feel so at home and comfortable. i recommend Little India in Henfield [behind budgens]. the takeways are exceptional aswell.
Little India – HenfieldLovely clean, friendly country restaurant. Food is fresh and imaginative. Staff helpful and a great selection of wines on offer. Good value for money, worth the trip out.
Baloo’s – HenfieldWe visited the Royal Oak on a recent trip to Henfield, the service as soon as we entered was first rate, with friendly and knowledgeable advice on the choice of wine and the suggestion of the cheese board which was perfect as we were not overly hungry. Consequently, we will be back again very soon!
Royal Oak – Henfieldwe found traces of cat food in are dinner and we were appalled by this and shall never return also may i add that my son had food poisoning
Little India – HenfieldGreat welcome, even though we only have a take-away.always beautifully cooked, great taste and colour .Always a real family treat.
Little India – HenfieldWhilst out walking with friends we came across this place. The staff were very friendly and welcoming but the food VERY pricey, poor and verging on contravening the Trade Description Act. Two had sandwiches, which whilst pricet were OK. Two more had fresh tuna, also OK. But the final two made the mistake of ordering the Ploughman's Lunch. The Ploughman's Lunch was advertised as an update on this traditional fare, including pork pie and 'Scotch Egg'. In fact everything about it was lightweight. One slice of white cut bread, with barely enough butter. A small portion of forgetable cheese. Four small siverskin onions, four tiny gherkins, some Branston Pickle, one mini pork pie, one party egg. The final item was a disgrace! This was NOT a Scotch Egg, but a small, golf ball sized, piece of sausagemeat with chopped egg in the middle. At over £7.50 this was a TOTAL RIPOFF! Not only did we witness the death of the Ploughman's Lunch, Scotch Eggs have also been sent packing.
Baloo’s – HenfieldCurry without the spice, two different dishes looked exactly the same! overall.. i've had much better, would i go again...No!
