Lifes a Beach – BudeFood ok but bar and eating area very out dated and dirty (floor). Also the owner very rude in the way he talked to customer's
The Red Post Inn & Tourist Park – Budeonly ever had takeawys but the food was really edible and I am quite fussy as I have cooked for a living.
Tiandi – BudeNO one should go bayleaf, kitchen staff never wash hands after toilet.Mr. Abul never give customer tips to staff.Illegal immigrant work over there.
Bayleaf – BudeAt ‘Life’s a Beach’ the food is fantastic and you would go a long way to equal it. The restaurant has truly outstanding views! Smiley and friendly staff that make you welcome. Best place in Bude to eat!
Lifes a Beach – BudeI was visiting Bude last week and could not wait to revisit this restaurant as I have so many happy memories from previous occasions. As I was staying for two weeks I did manage to visit on three occasion and while I cannot complain about the food - the crispy duck is just superb - I have to say I was quite annoyed about the quality of service to customers. When you advertise an opening time of 1730, why must a group of us stand outside in the pouring rain until 1745 even though the staff could see the remaining two of us dripping wet (two of our friends gave up and left). Knocking on the door and pointing at my watch brought one member to half open the door and ask if we had booked - we felt it seems, reluctantly let in and there was no interaction for the rest of the evening. To be honest, this was appalling and spoiled the evening. On the same evening a lady came in requesting a table for one and was told they were fully booked, at the same time bookings were still being taken on the phone for later and we were the only table eating. One hour later, still only two tables were taken and I am sure this lady could have sat. Aside from one Chinese lady who was brilliant, I believe some staff training is needed and less emphasis placed on anticipated delivery orders. Great food, very poor customer service
Tiandi – Budefantastic food, truly the best Chinese in the west country
Tiandi – BudeLife's a Beach is a great place with really good food. The view is amazing and there's a real buzzy vibe. It's a nice place for the whole family as kids are welcome.
Lifes a Beach – BudeAbsolutely fantastic - a real "cut above". Visited June 2009 and will definitely be returning
Tiandi – Budewhat a fantastic restaurant! we are very regular customers and tiandi is most definitely the best place to eat in bude. excellent service and food..well done to kenny, alex and the team!
Tiandi – BudeFantastic place to eat !!! always helpful and very accommodating along with really good food you cant go wrong !advisable to book !
The Tree Inn – BudeAbsolutely fantastic restaurant who also offer takeaway service. The best eatery in Bude with the friendliest staff - nothing is too much trouble! There is definitely nothing in Bude to rival this place
Tiandi – BudeI recently went to Bude with a friend and we had fish and chips at Sizzlers. I don't usually get excited about fish and chips, but i can honestly say it was the best i have ever had! The Haddock tasted like it had just come out of the sea, the batter was really light and crisp, not greasy at all and the chips were perfect. 10 out of 10!
Sizzlers Restaurant – BudeMy aim as a taxi company owner is to sample each and every local restaurant and bar to enable me to pass on personal 'recommendations' to my customers. Elements is situated on the cliff tops overlooking Bude and the North Atlantic. The former name of this gem was 'The Chough Hotel' but renovated and renamed for the start of the 2005 season. Firstly booking is advisable. Do not expect to have a 'quick meal' you are encouraged to take a drink of your choice to study and order from a well presented menu of the day. When your first choice of starter is ready you are guided to your table. Service and food is to a very high standard and presentation. Main Courses are a delight and again well presented to a very high standard for a very modest price (a real Cornish Gem!). This is one of those establishments where I found it possible and a joy to sit with the family around a table and talk without the normal home distractions (TV, Phone Etc.) A very pleasant 3 Hours was allowed from entry to finishing coffee outside on the veranda (this review for a summer visit!!). I can thoroughly recommend this restaurant as one of the best for Bude
Elements – BudeLife's A Beach has the most friendly staff, the cleanest restaurant and the most amazing ambience. The staff will go all out to ensure a totally enjoyable evening. As for the food - AMAZING. This is a fish lovers restaurant with chefs that really know how to cook fish. The variety is superb and quality is faultless. Worth every penny.....
Lifes a Beach – BudeWhat a jewel in the area. I was astounded by the quality of the cuisine and service at Tiandi which was more than a match for quality restaurants in London
Tiandi – BudeExcellent Chinese restaurant, definitely worth a visit. The only proper Chinese in Bude and surrounding area
Tiandi – BudeCame back again, what a surprise food still as wonderful as before family trying to work ourselves through the menu. Sad not to see the young waiter there this year, certainly lost its extra charm from the service point of view would love to know where he has gone his name I cannot think, Darren, Dan just cant think but nether the less lovely food service ok with young ladies. Young male waiter prob gone on to better things well good luck to the Ben and ill be seeing you again next year.
