Having never been to Hebden Bridge before we were overwhelmed with the amount of little cafes, pubs and restaurants available to eat in. We chose B@r Place as a safe option, it seems like a bar but had a good menu and very friendly staff. We both chose to have the roast and the waitress came to apologise for the wait as the chef cooks what he can from fresh. We felt this needed no apology.
The meal was surprisingly good and when the waitress enquired as to how things were, my partner explained how much he enjoyed the Yorkshire puddings and so the waitress returned with three more!
Final verdict? Don't judge a book by its cover.
